What is the point of all this? Seems like mass spam in the hope of snagging a few suckers?

Isn't real business about long term relationships with real people? I do not see much on this?

Am I in the wrong forum?

No wonder so many here are constantly trying to keep their heads above water. It's not a real business is it?

Everyone has a different method to make money online. What may work for someone may not work for you. It's your job to get through all the clutter and find something that works for YOU. Yes, peoples will try to sell you stuff, but that's the nature of this market.

Yes, and with the right online business it can be just that.

Well, I personally don't do any of the stuff you mentioned but some people do and that's their choice. You just gotta look at what's best for you.

Many here sell $7 to $27 or so "info products", which you'd need to in my opinion sell to at least thousands, in order to keep on selling other $7 to $27 "info products" to the same people in your "list", so as for your venture to become at least decently profitable and seemingly "sustainable"...

It's their choice, and that's how you see it, so it wouldn't be a "real business" for you and for others who share the same opinion, but it'd be a "real business" for them and to others who share the same opinion, and that's my take on this...

I think it's quite normal for some to target B2C and lower end B2B markets for low priced "info products" or high priced "info products" or low priced physical products or high priced physical products where 2 million or so viewers could convert into 50,000 or so subscribers that can in turn convert into 2,500 or so customers who could in turn convert into 120 repeat buyers with a 4 to 5 or so-digit USD monthly turnover; and

I also think it's normal for a few to zone in on higher level B2B markets for specialist manufacturing or production or payment processing or distribution or marketing or sales or support services where 20 or so top level leads can convert into 8 or so long term contracts with trial agreements that each has a 6 to 8 or so-digit USD monthly turnover...

These look like subject lines and although I don`t use them. It`s really hard to make a judgement call without looking at the intent of what the offer is. For instance, "Send 1000 Solo Ads" I would ask myself, what does that mean? Are these solo ads that are targeted to my specific audience?

50,000 likes on facebook. believe it or not, some are making 8 grand a month offering services like this. Again, without looking at the complete offer and what the intent is, I cant speculate whether is is spam or not.

I encourage you too look at your business model and always do a search review to understand what and why a person is selling something that may not be too your liking.

Agree. I feel like the quality of offers around here is pretty low in comparison to 3-4 years ago. Seems like legit business and more fly by night operations.

Maybe I'm just not here as much, or out of the loop-

Nope. You're not out of the loop. This is why the big launches last year were all held outside of the WF. The quality of stuff you find here has tanked dramatically compared to when I first became a member.

There are a lot of people here who do that, but myself and others on here don't. You just have to find out who is who. There has been a lot of people on here looking to spam or make a quick buck because a lot of "get rich products" recommend the warrior forum. Since joining in 2010, I have seen a downturn in the quality of the forum.

Right yet again! It is not a real business. Spamming is spamming.

There are legitimate ways to make money on the internet, but to fin them it takes investigating and work. because the internet is full of spamers and basically dishonest people.

You can promote clickbank or Amazon products by writing articles with low competition keywords about them and posting them to article directories like ezine. but you will have to work extremely hard to get the articles on the first page of google. This is a very basic system for making money, but it is very difficult

A real business is about connecting with real people and creating a long term relationship. True enough, there are some things you will buy or sell only once or twice in a lifetime - cars, houses, things like that.

But for most things, a longer term relationship is the way to continuing profit and referrals.

You are not in the wrong forum, frankly, I am seeing less of the wacky doodle Loophole sort of junk that used to clog up the forum. Right now the most prevalent sort of clogging up stuff seems to be about Solo ads. That stuff has been around since Charlie first started Directory of Ezines, whose sole purpose was to connect buyers and sellers of ads.

With the advent of traffic bots and traffic arbitrage, it has taken on a whole new life, but the fact is that with the right list of people, a solo ad can do well.

It has always taken a while to sort through the boatloads of crap, it probably always will, but there are some gems of human beings here, and lots of marketing information that is helpful. Keep at it, running an online business works for many people.

You have sort of answered your own question.

You are right, real business is about long term relationships with real people.

There are plenty of people here that have online businesses.

I daresay a lot of them are out working on their businesses and building those relationships as we speak.

    Here is the thing:

The examples you have stated above prey on people that want to have a 'business' without putting in the work - as you say building the relationships.

Building a relationship or a business - they are essentially the same thing, takes time - you have to give to receive, give more, get more etc...

As Jim Rohn says: "You get paid for providing value to the marketplace - to provide value takes time, you don't get paid for the time!"

So, I don't think you are in the wrong forum - people with real business are here but that is just one section of the marketplace - my personal opinion, like yours is that those services will not help your biz at all.

    All the best,

    Chris Jones

    It seems your references are either directed at one of 4 advertising locations;

    - WSO thread?
    - Warriors For Hire?
    - Ad Space on the Forum?
    Or
    - Perhaps certain signatures?

While I completely understand what you are saying; it is the equivalent of shunning entire television broadcasting stations for having commercial advertisments not relevant to your specific needs (like sitting through a douche commercial despite having the wrong genitalia)!

Caveat emptor (buyer beware) is perhaps the answer your looking for, I dunno.

But from the look of your 'username' your intention is to either buy or sell products centered around making money online. Perhaps you've chased too many shiny objects, again I dunno.

But what I find, see, and learn here is exactly what I come here to find! (Mostly knowledge from those who know how to create real businesses online)
