How To Use Fiverr Like The War Room To Build A List

Here is yet another attempt to help those of you not having much success doing the whole "internet marketing" thing.

This is probably something someone here will scoop up and use as the latest wso tactic, and so be it...more power to you.

I just hope it helps some of you and that more of you will actually put it to use and DO it.

Ok, so pay attention, it's pretty powerful if you understand what's going on.

If you're a member of the war room (which I highly suggest you do if you haven't yet), then you know that whatever you offer has to be free, and you can't squeeze people to access.

You CAN however place a link to get more content behind some sort of gated access - including links to squeeze pages, membership sign ons, etc.

So, this is the same idea I applied to Fiverr, and you can, too.

Now, most people that use Fiverr are offering a service of some sort, with some of the more eccentric offerings being things like dancing around in a banana suit, singing "It's Peanut Butta Time" for your friend's birthday or whatever.

A lot of people think this is the only way to stand out and make money using this platform.

It's not.

In fact, it's the quickest way to degrade your earning potential and highlight the desperate and soon to be overworked.

The time to deliver such gigs is massive and super undervalued.

So, here's how I reversed it, after seeing what someone else was doing to earn in the realm of $300 to $500 bucks a day from Fiverr:

1. I only offered mini info products
2. Offered freebies for positive feedback (some might think this unethical)
3. Opt-ins for bonus stuff

So, the idea, if you don't want to run afoul of their TOS, is to offer info products that are one and done things.

The trick is to just do it once...

One product, one solution style.

Complete the sales page, including a video.

Tell the people what they will get if they buy your gig.

The deliverable:

A pdf to a link to their download page or deliverable page.

Why not just give them the deliverable?

Well...

You can, but if you want to be able to use all your ninja im skills including pop ups to special offers, side bar offers, etc...

It's easier to direct them to a page to be able to do that.

Plus, you can make upgrades, changes, etc. without having to redeliver stuff to people that already bought from you.

In complete transparency, I had to learn what was ok through trial and error and eventually got my gigs sand boxed from Fiverr's search initially, but what I did on the back end allowed my gigs to earn traffic through other social means which still happen to this day.

Knowing what I know now, I advise people to do things this way and how I'd do it if starting from scratch.

I hope you found this useful, and I hope it helps you find new levels of success.

Was this helpful?

Regards,

Los

Interesting tactic. There is definitely a potential for buyer traffic on Fiverr.

Any business trying to produce more income must really plan out how they will draw their customers through a good sales funnel. Delivering a high quality product or service on the first part of the sales funnel will definitely lead more sales throughout the rest of your sales funnel. You could actually look at Fiverr as place where you get paid a nice, small fee for the leads you're gathering into your sales funnel, as long as you carefully follow their TOS.

Yea, I built a list of 400+ people using this technique. On average these folks paid me about $25 a piece (yup...that's about $10,000).

    Now, is it possible?

    Yes.

Will you have results like this?

I have no clue so to be safe and to take the wind out of the nay sayers...you probably won't....even though I just told you how.

Helping those that ARE TRYING to help themselves is what I'm about.

    I just hope this helped.

This sounds like a great strategy and will drastically reduce fulfillment time when compared to the typical gigs that people are offering.

Is there a specific niche that you're focusing on with your mini products? Also, do you develop these products from scratch or do you use or repurpose PLR?

What has your customer satisfaction rate been using an approach like this?

I am trying to build a list, and I am posting on forums, facebook groups, and buying some traffic, but I have not thought much about fiverr for list building However after reading this, I think I will look into it.
    Thanks for the information.

@gmarklin - If you stop and think about it....you're actually building a BUYER's list with this technique and simply paying Fiverr 20% commission to help you by giving you traffic....buyer's traffic.

If you think about it, Fiverr is just one of MANY publishing platforms that PAY YOU to be YOUR affiliate.

    Can you think of others?

    I can.

Fiver gets real mad if you give buyers your email or tel# or address even. Like they do not want people to be able to contact you outside of Fiver to get gigs. There is one tactic I use. Well, in the deliverable PDF I do add a GIF with my personal information being at MY FIVER NAME dot com and I get to talk to my users. Perhaps that is a bit shady, but I yse to do this back in my fee bay days and I am still a member of both services. Get a fiver name that is easy to remember, short and crisp. For example, if your gigs are on BICYCLE repair get... MIKES BIKES AND TRIKES also make MIKES BIKES AND TRIKES dot com as your domain name.

      Thanks seobro.

Great minds think alike I've done this too (the 5rr NameDotCom idea) and built a 300+ subscriber list of buyers from 5rr. It took 6 months for that list, but it was concurrent with other list building methods. I did very well from the 5rr list, about $20/subscriber total. And they paid to get on the list. I have no doubt that it can be ramped up by someone. It is a great way to jumpstart a list that is actually worth something.

Once you have some money from the list you can ramp up list building in easier venues.

Any platform is going to to setup stiff TOS so that, should they feel the need or desire to do so, they can enforce it, but notice how their TOS doesn't allow skype information yet...

How many gigs are there where you can pay for coaching?

    A ton right?

Rules are subject to the platform, which is completely understandable, but, if you're a Kennedy follower (like I am), then you believe...

Rules are for mere mortals, lol.

Pretty cool tips man! I'm always trying to add new stuff to my "IM toolbox". My question is have the subscribers you've gotten from Fiverr been of high quality? My concern is that you will be building a list of tirekickers.

Fiverr can be a pretty awesome platform and the "ONLINE HELL" at the same time.
With my experience as a gig seller,i conclude that 80% of the people who buy gigs on Fiverr are annoying idiots.Good luck with list building...

Been using the same strategy for some months now. It works!

The only difference is that I offer gigs which are very easy to do < 5 minutes. Will try to give out courses.

    Thanks for the share.

    Cheers,

I have a fiverr account with 300+ 5* ratings, and I'm almost fed up of my gigs at this stage as each 5$ can sometimes take half an hour or more.. Have been wanting to create a "product" gig for a while now, and I think that my level 2 status and high ratings will help the new gig get seen at first..

When you said you offer freebies for review on fiverr? how did you do this? messaging randomers directly on fiverr just asking them if they want it?

Your method gives the already great product idea a new twist, thanks for bringing it back to my attention, I have a few spare hours later which I will use brainstorming what deliverable I'll offer!

P.s If someone could post some examples of these gigs on fiverr, Id love to see!
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[9861203].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author focusedlife
@QueenMelanie - Yeah, the service gigs can drain you unless you do it right.

I DO NOT message randoms, I simply give them "hidden" or "bonus" fiverr gigs (it's all in the marketing), as a gift if they liked the gig they bought and, of course, share it with the world.

One way I kick this off is, I basically say, as part of my deliverable, "if you liked this gig and want the add-on x, usually I do a buy 2 get one free, but if you leave your 5 star review (or thumbs up or whatever), just do me a favor and share it using one of the social media buttons and I'll give you the add-on free...no need to buy another gig, unless you're looking for more freebies ;-)"

I also tell them I'll send it over just as soon as they do all the above and mark the gig complete.

I have some up that you're welcome to look at. Just add "/focusedlife" at the end of fiverr.com url to see.

There are a ton of cool publishing platform tactics you can use to build leverage.

I've discovered a ton and those looking for my insights are welcome to search my posts, reach out to me and find out more.

    Hope this helped.

@Paulie888 - Just marketing stuff. I'm not trying to be self promotional here, but if you read through the comments I'm sure you can find my examples.

I don't use PLR, myself, but I suppose you could, however, I wouldn't recommend it.

    Just me.

    Hope that helps.
