Where to acquire thumbnails for articles?

May seem like a stupid question, but i was wondering where to source images for thumbnails from that isn't expensive? I'm no photographer, and I do not want to become one - learn photoshop - and all that.

Where do you source your images for thumbnails from? How much should i expect to pay for each one?

I'm guessing your talking about images, and not thumbnails.

There are many free stock photo websites. Search Google.

Here's one of my favourite ones with really high quality photos: https://unsplash.com/grid

You can source images from royalty free image sites for a small fee.

There are also good free resources but paid image sites usually have better quality and variety than you can find for free.

Government photos is a good source that links to many different government image resources. Most government material is public domain but check individual images to make sure they are not copyright.

MorgueFile is another good source for free images
Morguefile.com free stock photos

And Wiki Commons also has royalty free images:

thumbnail as in the "featured image" that will display with your post on your blog page? Flickr, Morguefile and pixabay are great places to find free to use images..

1. Stock photos, royalty-free images, video & music clips - iStock
2. picjumbo
3. stokpic | Free Stock Photos To Do What You Want With
4. Free Photos - Free Images - Free Stock Photos - FreeDigitalPhotos.net
5. Pixabay - Free Images

Go to Google Images and filter to only show "small" images. That should work
