Fiverr Sellers Webinar

by Raymond T 22 replies
I'm posting this purely as a curiosity. I happen to be a Top Seller on Fiverr with spotless feedback rating and over 3 years under my belt. I've sold a variety of gigs across several categories. Would there be any market for a paid webinar for sellers looking for tips, tricks and general expertise?

I think there would be huge interest. There's a bunch of fiverr stuff in the war room. There are lots of fiverr WSOs. There are thousands, yes thousands of threads here on the topic. There are a couple of senior warriors here that promote fiver methods and strategies. If your material is good I think you'd do well. One angle you don't see much of is using fiverr as a lead generation method for more lucrative service gigs.

I see Fiverr as being low short-term value, so I would be interested in how it can be used to generate better long-term value.

    Do you get quality leads?

    What's the product market like?

Thank you! Your feedback is very insightful. It's tough because I happen to know a lot about converting Fiverr buyers into something more but I would worry about compromising my status with the fine folks at Fiverr. My methods, although effective, aren't always in line with their Terms of Service...

On a semi-related note, I've always had this idea for a service that helps boost new Fiverr gigs. You see, no matter how good you are at what you offer, it takes a handful of sales to start gaining traction in the marketplace. There should be a service or community where you can buy or trade gig purchases and feedback. Just sayin...

Agreed. Here's the model in my head:

        - User A posts a gig he wants boosted
        - Community sees post and either agrees to boost in in exchange for boosts or cash
        - Website takes a $1 fee for facilitating the exchange

As well as your original post, with this information, seems really interesting. I would like to know more, and no doubt many others would too..

I'd be interested. I just started selling on fiverr and have only one sale so far. I just got started but I was hoping it would do better.

I am sure there a lot of people on here who would pay to hear what you have to say yes.. I am a successful seller too, but only got a few months down so I'm sure theres a lot I could learn from you too

The hardest part of selling on Fiverr is getting those first sales and reviews on the board because, unfortunately, a lot of buyers are very reluctant to take a chance on people without any reviews... which is understandable.

I did have an account with a lot of good reviews at one point but I closed it down because the cash I was making wasn't worth the effort I was putting in... which was a bad move because I'm having to start from scratch again! I agree that some kind of community that trades reviews would certainly be a good move, once a few reviews are on the board sales often snowball in very quickly.

Wow, I'm excited to hear there would be an audience for this. Where would I promote such an event? Obviously, not on Fiverr. WarriorForum?

I would want it to be completely above-board with Fiverr as to not jeopardize my personal account, of course. It's something to think about... thanks again!

I think you would do well right here on WF. Promote on social media as well, and of course promote it as an affiliate program. Sellers of Fiverr related products should have lists loaded with Fiverr sellers or would be sellers.

      In a nutshell, I'm interested.

Put the link in you sig. Customer can pay you via pay pal and you can use a WSO to promote your service. For example charge em a FIVER $5 should be quite catchy, and best of luck to you.

Definitely there would. I think the best way to spread the word would be to just send out messages to other members on Fiverr. Copy/paste and you can reach a huge amount in no time.

Hi Sucantare, like your posts and responses. Not so sure a Fiverr
webinar is the way to go. There might be a better way to utilize and 'exploit'
(in a nice way) your Fiverr experience. What about some sort of a paid 'mind'
group with weekly Q&A conference calls? _Don't_ be afraid to hold yourself
out as a guru - if you know your stuff! lol

Skystar, tell me more about this mindgroup idea. Are other people doing this? It sounds great actually...

How about selling an ebook? I think a lot of people would be interested in purchasing that.

      Very interesting suggestion.

But I have to question if Fiverr would be the best place to sell such a product.

Seems to me there is not a great deal of attention given to information products on Fiverr.

But I guess , , , you never can tell.

I'm sure there would be interest here but this concerns me

There should be a service or community where you can buy or trade gig purchases and feedback.
Wouldn't that be buying feedback or buying reviews? I could be wrong but wonder how that would fit with Fiverr's TOS? Would be sad if in trying to leverage your knowledge here you harmed your standing on Fiverr.

Would be a great way to find out from you as a expert how to be seen on fiverr and what it takes to keep getting gigs in your niche with so many competitors.
