What to say Online comes from experience and knowledge in your niche and the only way to get experience and knowledge for your niche is to research and never stop researching.

You can research through courses, ebooks, blogs, forums, videos, ect.

What do you mean by " Who to connect to?

Do you mean who to sell too or who to use as a connector to influence your name in the niche?

Look up a chap by the name of Mark Ling Affiliate Marketing Training, Software & Support | Affilorama, he has a course that will get you started or also a chap John Gibb, HWA 2.0 - Free Healthy Wealthy Affiliate Marketing Course . ( I am not an affiliate of these two people but just know them to be honest and genuine.)

Either of these two chaps can help you - My advice at your stage - Pick one AND STICK TO THEIR SYSTEM LIKE GLUE UNTIL 1) you are making some money, and 2) you have a broader understanding of internet marketing.

IM is a business like any other, if you are wise you will not have a goal to make $10,000 in six months but take a lead from whoever you choose and use their experience and advice to get you started.

DON'T GET SIDE TRACKED - STICK TO THEIR SYSTEM, this will enable you to navigate past the wankers and bullshit artists who will promise you money,money,money in 2 weeks, take your hard earned cash and leave you with shit.

Take my word for it I have been there.

I agree with you..Its frustrating having to learn everything at once..
This is what we call information overload, Most Internet Marketers suffer from this at the start but once you are over it then you are on your way to success.

Becoming a successful Internet Marketer you have to learn first, Implement then Teach. This way you will be able to build relationships that last a lifetime.

No one goes to college and expects to graduate in the first month.

Like already mentioned get a mentor or join an online membership. i recommend Wealthy Affiliate University or for an even easier way to start your online business, try Auto Affiliate Program Steven Hall where most of the work is done for you once you set it up?

WA will teach you the way to create your own niche focused websites while AAP could start earning you money sooner?

The best thing you can do is master the fundamentals. The most complex structures are made of basic building blocks. Our super intricate body is still made up of basic elements. So, when it comes to marketing, forget trying to be like this or that guru. Master the fundamentals of traffic generation, conversion and offer creation.

Learn the basic chords, then sooner or later you'll be putting your own spin on it. Play to your strengths and dominate.

- How to build a sales funnel = learn how to sell
- How to drive targeted traffic to that funnel
- How to track and optimize for maximum ROI

Its not hard to learn online marketin. I would suggest you pick a sub niche you want to first master such as cpa marketing, list building, blogging etc. I would then research and master that sub niche then go in forums blogs social media looking for people who may need help in the niche you now have a vast knowledge of and give your expert advice. I would build a list in the sub niche continue to give advice and offer products you feel would help. I would then go on to master other sub niches of online marketing and do the same thing.

As others have mentioned, it is best to pick a particular area to specialize. You can get a lot of good free information at Webinar swaps.

There is also good information on Utube that is free. I watch utube videos all the time to learn how to do things. Good Luck

Dude, do NOT do solo ads. Do not do ANY form of paid traffic yet. You're going to throw money down the drain because you don't know anything about email marketing and how to turn the leads you get from your solo ads into sales.

You need to understand how guys like Ray Hidgon and co. make money online.

(btw, if you want to be like them, go to their blogs and consume their content. They give away a LOT of what they do for free)

Anyways, here is my advice.

The #1 thing you need to focus on is building an EMAIL LIST.

I'll use Ray Higdon to illustrate my point and to show you how he kills it online.

Ray Higdon started a blog and blogged every single day for 3 years.
Over those 3 years, he learned how to rank his blog to the top page of Google
where his network marketing audience could find it.

Then he delivered awesome content in all of this blog posts and told them to
subscribe to his email newsletter for more valuable tips.

He began to build an email list.

Ray consistently followed up with his subscribers by offering them more value, testimonials, success stories, inspiration, and more.
His followers trusted his advice, saw him as a real person, and believed he could help them achieve similar success if they followed him.

Then Ray would make a pitch to join his business or invest in his coaching and people would eat that shit up.

Then he would keep building his email list and following up and doing the same thing.

That's how he prints money at the push of a button. He has built up a large and responsive email list of buyers.

So, choose a marketing channel that you feel good about and start creating content that helps your target audience and use call-to-actions to subscribe to your email newsletter so you can start building relationships with the people on your list.

First off the way you learn and grow is to find rich soil to plant your seeds in. But, you have to cultivate it, especially if you are on a limited ad budget, which $100 would definitely confirm.

As far as being like a guru, I'd use that term loosly round here, as many advanced and intermediate marketers tend to see that many of the so-called gurus lost their true passion, and many just blast their massive lists with any offer that will keep those 7-figure numbers coming in.

Perhaps, reversing questions 1 & 2 above would actually help you.

1. You need to know who you are connecting with, what they need, want, or desire.... and then,

2. Learn to communicate to that specific audience, group, or better still...as if speaking directly to the person whom is seeking your guidance

Then, with the proper marketing techniques, such as list building, powerful squeeze & landing pages, and finally sales copy ( be it your own or an affiliates product) you can build a real business, with real people looking to you for ideas, inspiration, solutions, or even just sincere recommendations to a solid product or service.

RESEARCH... Research from front to back, back to front. What are your competiters doing to succeed?

How is your sponsor or upline successors doing it...swipe ideas, mimic their success, and whenever possible... Smoke em, and deliver even better results to each individual on your lead list. (Email list)

Yes, it is frustrating...but so is going to work everyday. Learn the basics, webpage, offerings, build list, and plant seeds... The internet is rich soil!

Well, first you have to decide what kind of business you are looking to start at online. After that, just create a website according to your niche and if you want to move your steps on selling item, then you need to select an eCommerce platform, because the eCommerce platform provides all kinds of services regarding your queries.

Online marketing is easy. In fact, paid advertising is even easier. You will hear the same strategies over and over again. And more than likely, these *same* strategies will actually do work.

Problem is you will probably hear it from people who aren't doing it themselves. They just copy what "sounds" like good advice - or good strategy - or a popular strategy.

Build up your (1) squeeze page, (2) autoresponder, and (3) pitch your MLM offer in your email newsletter. All 3 of those things are things that you should learn how to do immediately, and effectively.

Hey Fitnessfreak158, I agree to most of the answers previously posted here.

First and foremost, BE AUTHENTIC. People want to connect with people who're real and they feel they can trust 100%. And they trust you most when you're your most authentic self (i.e. give your personal best).

Therefore, don't worry about not being the "best speller in the world". My mother tongue isn't English.. so what? I do create content in English anyway. See, this doesn't stop me.

I'm also not here to sell you on anything, especially as you just have $100 to invest in your business.

The question I much rather like to ask you: What have you already done to build your own online business? Do you have an idea what you need to do? If you like I can take a look at your website and give you some feedback.

Know that it doesn't matter where you are at the moment. But you need to know where you're heading.

I believe they only learned one small portion from books... rest thru trials and errors... that`s how big names emerge from the crowd usually... go with the crowd and you`ll get there where everyone is...

One small trick I learned in my B2B SEO business is how to reach big names.

If you need only info, call them (you`ll usually get their voice mail or someone who`s job is to screen unimportant from important calls - always treat them as equally important, and as ally - and tell that you are a student and got a project to interview some really huge guy, and you picked him/her... take as much as you need to get them)

Second is to send them greeting card in a package or something like that, so when secretary answers your call, you can say that you are calling concerning package owner got yesterday... in 90% of time they`ll connect you to the "big shot`s" office (:

There are plenty of Online Marketing resources available on the net. What you need to do though, is to have a look at which method you're interested in using and stick to it; it's so easy to get lost between article marketing, pay-per-click, video marketing, list builders, etc.

There are also systems that you can use if you're serious about making money online which will provide full training and everything you need to be successful.

Well you are in the right place to learn IM even MLM because it's all basically the same formula. A great offer and drive traffic to your landing page. There is far too much to learn which will be on a ongoing basis.

If you are in Network Marketing, leveraging the Internet can be a better way to get yourself in front of people who are looking for what you have to offer.

I am an 'affiliate' marketer who 'attracts' network marketers to me by:

1- Creating 'Targeted' Traffic

2- Funneling that traffic into a 'lead capture system'.

3- X amount of that traffic converts on the front end.

4- Follow up emails help create sales on the 'back end'.

The thing that most new marketers struggle with is finding a good traffic fit for them and staying long enough to learn and master it.

There are (2) Main ways to get traffic:

1- FREE
2- PAID

Note that paid is a lot faster than free but BOTH require a learning curve and results do not come over night.

The marketers who learn and master the skill sets needed are the ones who will get rewarded for their hard earned efforts.

In Conclusion:

There are many different ways to make money online but all of them take time to cultivate. Pick one that you feel would be a match for you but don't make this decision based on money. Make it based on some area that you honestly feel would be a match for you.

I think the main thing is to find a reputable marketer who has actually succeeded as mentioned in previous posts here and follow what they are doing. But also a very important thing to do is try to ignore all the other offers that you will receive on a daily basis. Its very easy to get distracted and product hop. :-)

Take time to educate yourself on internet marketing. Follow somebody who is experienced at what you want to do and follow a step by step plan. Don't be afraid to invest in your business. Only buy products and services you feel will help you and your business online. Some of the basics you need is web hosting and an autoresponder. My suggestion to you is to study your niche, and build an email list around your niche. Become an expert at your field and help your prospects. When you help others achieve success, you will achieve success.
