What to start with?

I don't know if you're familiar with SEO and affiliate marketing but you can create your own website that will bring you money on autopilot if you rank for keywords that people are constantly searching for.

Even if you rank for keywords with very low search volume but choose quite a few of them, you could generate a few thousands visitors a month and generate a few dozen sales/leads.

First, expect to make $0 for the next few months.

Take your time actually reading and studying topics like list building or SEO.

There's like a thousand ways to make money and if you're 'Forcing' yourself to do something that you don't like. Chances are you won't succeed no matter what.

That being said, my personal advice is to look into "List Building"

I couldn't have agreed more, nor could I have said it any better. Everything takes time, and education most occurs in real life by getting involved and learning as time progresses. So don't stop learning and don't give up!

Hi RealOne23 and welcome to the world of IM! A lot of people have mentioned list building and affiliate marketing. Both of which are great to reach your goals.

The one big thing I would recommend is finding one proven method, indulge yourself in it, and stick with it until you reach your goals. Regardless of what the method is (List building, affiliate marketing, blogging, niche sites, etc) stick with it and learn everything about it. Then take small steps everyday and take what you learn and apply it.

Seriously, you guys are not at all helpful.

I am going to be equally unhelpful, but I am not going to pretend otherwise.

There is no magic "IM formula" that is going to work for you. You have to find a need and build a business to serve it. That is where money comes from.

Guess what? You don't need the internet for that. You need to keep your eyes open and use your brain.

First figure out where the opportunity is, then think about how to monetize it. This is where the internet may come back in. But maybe not, or not in the way you would expect it to.

Sound hard? You bet your ass it is.

Making money is real work.

Can anyone do it?

No.

But almost anyone can, if they are willing to do the research and then do the hard work. Then be willing to fail a bunch of times until the right way becomes clear.

If you need to make money now, I would get a job.

This is a "long haul" kind of thing.

Hey Buddy, first of all I'll suggest you to find a mentor and follow him.

there are hundreds of ways to make money online but going for any random business is not going to help you.

Find a Mentor who has already done it. how can teach you how to take baby steps and then move forward. should be the one who will teach you what to do, how to do and why to do.

I'm not an expert per se but I definitely agree with Jack Gordon about getting offline first

I think what everyone needs is this clear head and "aha" moment to find the vertical that would be just for you! Don't copy cat anything- find your own thing!

Meanwhile just invest few hours of reading and researching into methods, but don't get into specifics or you'll be lost in terms and techniques quite soon.

Welcome to the I.M. Grind.

The easiest and I mean easiest way I know to make money online, just starting out, is to use fiverr.

Sell one and done info product solutions AND build your list at the same time.

What I do is offer gigs that show people how to do stuff - a lesson, but I also make "bonuses" available via an opt in.

Build a list that people paid me to be on, made more money off of those folks sending them offers.

Do this while promoting your gigs and you can have a real nice few paydays within the next 30 days.

I have my own case study where I did this to make $100 a day.

Gigs that continue to pay the bills,built a paid buyers list, and scored an interview with a marketing legend...all by doing what I just shared.

if you're a student you probably are use to writing and are proficient at typing. I'd recommend becoming a freelance writer. If you are good at the english language, there will always be demand for your writing!

Overall it's best to set a budget of what you can afford to invest, and the first target is break even. Sure most people will tell you to do affiliate marketing as it's no cost (apart from the course on affiliate marketing they want you to buy).

Find a sub niche of internet marketing that interests you, and just by being active in the sub niche you should be able to find a way of generating cash.

If you are technical then look at selling yourself on fiverr doing jobs that take you < 10 minutes.

Once you know that you have a skill people want then turn it into a report and either give it away or sell it as cheap front end product.

Just keep at it day in and day out and soon you will attract ideas that will help you earn that much per month.

Welcome to IM RealOne23!

Almost anyone can make money online and there are many ways to do it. List building in certainly one of those ways. GetResponse has some great university style courses that are free. Plus, they offer a free first month to get you started. You can use that to promote affiliate products on your list. The key is to build that list. Good Luck
