Any one looking for a coder?

Hi,
So I have set this offer on the "warriors for hire" section, where I offer if you purchase your webhosting using a link I will give you. Then I will build a website with medium complexity for you FOR FREE! (you know the comission is somewhat high)

Problem is, none seems to be intrested its been 2 days with not a single reply or email, I thought that part of making an online living required a website

Anyhow... my question is, since I obviously wasted some bucks making a paid post (Im so naive and n00b) Where can I find people with a genuine interest on building a website for $13 (for the first year)?

My conclusion is, that maybe the offer seems too good? maybe I don't have a bulk load of posts here? or maybe... my wording sucks! (english is not my primary language)

Can someone advise me on how can I advertise my services succesfully?

    What exactly are you building?

    Are you just installing wordpress?

For starters, your customer will need to give you their webhosting username and password for you to build their site. This involves trusts.

So, I guess my next question is how credible are you and how can you prove it?

For credibility I added a link to my oDesk profile, yet is not a 5/5 profile Ive managed to have a high rating among my clients across 39 projects and 2k hours of work, and I detail that Im not only installing wordpress I offer far more things with the possibility to combine options and form a custom deal, and Im not requesting access to their hosting account, just a database and a restricted ftp account... I think I should add that if they dont trust me at all I will just deliver the script...

    A few ideas:

    1. Build some credibility by answering posts and being helpful.
    2. Put your offer in your signature.
    3. Promote your offer elsewhere. For example, if you have an email list let them know about your offer.
    4. Ask for a copy review in the copywriting section. I haven't looked at your offer so not sure what it looks like.
    5. Make sure it's really a good offer. For example, if it's an EIG company which typically offers big affiliate commissions, there are hundreds of no-no-no posts about them and how much trouble they are here. Point is, if it's a crappy host free can be very expensive.

      Hey mark,
Well offer is from goDaddy, they've been around for quite a while, some people like it some don't... I used to hate it but man o' man they've improved!

      Here is my offer

Do you think I should mention where the hosting is from?

I probably wouldn't go with GD hosting but some others would. But I would want to know who it was with.

There's a typo in the 2nd paragraph that needs changing.

Buying is too hard. Got to contact you then go to a blog post then get the information then yada yada when it may be easier to just sign up with them myself.

You don't say exactly what goes into, say, 4 informative pages. I have no clue if they are blank with ipsum lopem or what. What does an example page look like? Where is a demo site?

Mailchimp has a pretty bad rep with many marketer types especially if selling anything related to marketing.

3 options without a clear flow or similarities between them. It's kind of like "Do you want to buy a rifle, a boat, or a puppy dog?" Most offers build on the base - not totally different.

Look at some of the other web design offers for more ideas.

Your offer has only 43 views and I'm one. Some of those may be Googlebot or other bots. Point is that if nobody is seeing it then nobody is going to buy it. Work on the copy, the offer, and then the marketing (exposure) and see if any of that helps.

First, two days isn't long enough to say you've failed. I looked at your offer and it needs work. I'm guessing English isn't your first language so maybe it would be wise to get someone to help you clean that page up.

The formatting of that ad needs improving. I think you could get customers for your offer if you just present it better. Maybe you could find someone that needs some web work done in exchange for getting your Warrior For Hire page in shape.

    Good luck.

Besides the layout and typos in the ad I think the biggest problem is your are essentially selling a website without any images of what it will look like. For all they know you could be offering a terrible or plain looking website.

    Hey Mu,

I used to have a done for you service as well and it converted quite well.

    Here are some tips:

    1. Who exactly are you targeting? Are you building a website for an affiliate marketer or small business owner? You need to specify and show examples of the kind of websites you have built for them.

    2. If you're just simply doing a small service for affiliate marketers then you definitely need to add incentives. For example

--> 4 Premium plugins install to help with list building (for example)

--> Free Guide on how to become a successful blogger or build successful niche sites

--> Anything else you can think of really.

I just checked your ad and it really doesn't say anything.

You need to remember when you're selling a service to always focus on "WIIFM". (What's in it for me).

From your ad, I do not see any benefit at all. For all I know, you could be a scammer. (I'm sure you're not)

    Hope this helps.
