Harvey, the potential for affiliate recruitment is off the charts for this one. Your "Never had a refund request, and never will" USP should have them foaming at the mouth.

I can't remember what is was called.:D

And I thought I was the only fool who had ordered the same product twice.
But seeing a high flyer like George has done it too makes me feel a whole lot better about myself.

I just posted in another thread about a sale I just made from a site I didn't even know I had - isn't that just as bad?

Frank: Why do you drink so much Dean?
Dean: I drink to forget
Frank: Forget what Dean?
Dean: I can't remember

I have to do a quick post because I'm sitting on 87 posts, which is a very unlucky number to be sitting on in Australian cricket. (It's 100 runs less 13).

I notice that there are posts by Jim Phillips and Troy Phillips.

I'm Peter Phillips

Did I post under different names? - can't remember!

That post cracked me up.

Post it again in a week and it will crack me up again. Also, remind me to buy your memory course.

"I've never had a refund request as far as any customer can remember."

I have a woman who has purchased my eBook 4 times. Bless her heart - she had a stroke and she always emails me realizing after the fact that she's already bought it. We laugh about it now because I'm THAT good at selling it to her repeatedly :)

Re: A fool-proof money-maker

That's a great idea Harvey. Here's a MUCH better idea though. I got it somewhere on the internet, can't remember where.

I'd like your thoughts on how my plan stacks up against yours.

Here it s:

Some time ago a marketer told me that a customer had
purchased the same book from him no less than 7 times.

I assume the customer had a very bad memory.

Which gave me an idea.

I'm going to write a book with a title like
"How to improve your memory"

I'll set it at a low price so that its an easy sale.

Then in my follow up campaigns I'll give extra tips on
improving memory until, a few weeks later, I tell them

"I hope you are enjoying these tips in my newsletter.
There's hundreds more in my new book - How to improve your memory"

See, they will most likely have forgotten their original
purchase and will re-order.

The next step is to invite them to become affiliates with
the maximum ClickBank 75% commission.

Then I'll switch the rate down to 10%.

If they complain about low commissions and say they thought
it was 75% I'll simply tell them they are confused with
another ebook.

I could be cheeky and say
'Your memory is not too good, how about buying this book . . '
but that might be taking it a bit far.

What do you think ?

Hey, i'm the one who bought that bread machine 7 times...or was it 8? Anyway, i'm going to have to buy it again now because i don't know what the hell i have done with it.

Re: A fool-proof money-maker

7 times is nothing.
I've got hundreds of people on my membership site on how to hypnotize.

<you are feeling very sleepy>

you see, I discovered that long sales letters used to make me sleepy

<you are feeling relaxed>

so I wrote this really long salesletter for people who want to learn the power of suggestion. I mean reallly long and engaging. It was so engaging that people not only felt tired but relaxed at my suggestion

<you are very relaxed now>

and did you know that people who want to learn to hypnotize are actually really open to suggestion.

You did know that didn't you. You want to learn don't you.

<You are relaxed at the idea of learning this power>

Very relaxed.

You remember how generous you feel when you are relaxed

<you need to know more>

You know that only spending money will get you this power

<feeling oh so relaxed, oh so generous>

visist my site and find out how you can feel relaxed every month at only $97

<my newletters will help you relax>

and you know how clicking those affiliate links makes you excited and full of anticipation.

<you feel excited, you want to spend money>

<it makes you feel good, relaxed, in control>

Just head over to my website and you can have this power.

----------
*special wfo* send me $100 and I will snap my fingers.

Yes, but it ain't true! LOL I don't know why I'm replying to this really but anyway ...

If you have ever kept fish you will know that they know where and when the food goes in, so the old 3 sec memory thing is just a myth. ;)

I think this is dishonest and ridiculous....If I sold an ebook and someone re ordered the same thing I think they would be more likely to purchase things I recommended or wrote in the future if I sent them a refund for the second purchase and I politely told them that they already own it and where they can re download it.

Don't take advantage of people like that it is not a good business practice.

It's funny that you say this, because I have membership sites, where after doing an audit we discovered the same member paying three times for his membership.

I guess some people get so caught up in a buying frenzy that they buy the same things over and over.

Two things start to happen when we get old... First is your memory starts to go, and Second... uh I can't remember it exactly.

actually not true, goldfish get to know you over a period of weeks and months and can actually be trained to do all sorts of tricks

the misconception that their brains can't remember a thing is a false one (probably do to the fact that they go "blub blub blub" all day long)

have a nice one,
