Trust is a topic that has come up from a post I made the other day when referring to a friends site. So my question now is how does a site get trust. I have my opinion on the subject and will share it but I would like other opinions.
I feel trust comes from well written informative and truthful articles, (content).
I believe trust also comes from a web site layout that looks good and is easy to navigate with subjects the viewer is interested in is easily found.
I also believe that trust should come from what page and position the site is on, if Google feels it is good enough to be on page one shouldn't that automatically give a vote of trust to the site.
I also believe a site that has a lot of hard sell things on the site isn't as trustworthy as one that mentioning buying something rather then buy, buy, buy should instil a little more trust. What are your thoughts.
