Should I let someone use my RSS to post my content on their site?

I'm targeting a certain niche and a large site wants to use my RSS feed to make my content automatically post on their site when I post something. Should I allow them to do this?

I'm getting ready to launch a comic series which I think will be hugely popular but I want people to come to my site to view it... On the other hand I would get a lot of exposure from their site and it would link to mine.

If you have public RSS, you can't hide it from news aggregators.

But you can publish only short attractive preambles in RSS - and links to private full content.

The preambles sounds like a good idea but it's mainly an image that I'm publishing since it's a comic series. What I'll probably do is post the comics on a "Page" somewhere on my site or an image gallery. Then I'll post every other one on the blog. They will be numbered so people will see #2 and wonder where #1 is possibly. Is that the best solution?

Isn't that the desired goal of content publishing, others publishing your work and you getting credited for it?

True, but I'm trying to build an email list and if they view my comics somewhere else they won't need to come to my site to view them. Maybe I'm over thinking it...

Why not publish say 3 pages of your comic on your site for everyone to see but then make them subscribe to see that full 15 pages for an example.

It's a comic strip so each page is it's own version. I guess I could release the first 5 or so and then require signup to see the rest. I was thinking about something along the lines of "Sign up to get a notification when the next comic is released"...

What I suggest you do is look at how the major online comic strips are being produced, then how they are released and more importantly, how they are monetised. Without knowing what subject area but 9/10 reddit seems to be quite a good place to make a comic go viral. Maybe run a side banner (small one like a text line big) saying that for constant updates sign up here, along them lines.

You can publish the low resolution version, or sketch
