Clickbank products with Paypal buy now links - Will I get my commission?

I was wandering to learn if I will get my commission if I make sales for those type of sales pages. I mean some products offer Clickbank & Paypal checkout side by side> I am afraid I will not be paid if the user chooses to pay via Paypal directly. See eg below:

Fastmocap - Kinect Motion Capture - Mocap software for everyone

newideamarketing is correct - You wouldn't get the commission on those. Don't advertise them and always look at metrics like gravity before promoting an offer. The higher the gravity is, the better the conversions.

Thank you guys, That is what I thought that I wouldn't get paid b/c the money will not go to Clickbank account. There is also another product I am promoting in Moreniche. It has Paypal checkout option in addition to Moreniche's checkout. Not sure what to think.

      Hi All,

I'd like to bring up one point with this thread. Our system does provide sellers the ability to offer a payment link that lands the consumer on our order form or they can provide a separate payment link that will take the consumer directly to Paypal, rather than the consumer being required to click on the Paypal option with our order form. In this case, the vendor's pitch page may include two separate buy buttons which appear to be a leak, but in fact is not. (Please note, I do not speak for the vendor in question identified by the OP)

A payment link for our platform that includes parameters for the zipcode field, paymentMethod=pypl, and the country will bypass our order form and go directly to Paypal. The commissions are still tracked and paid according the vendor's terms. Some vendors have tested and believe this increases conversion rates.

To verify if a paypal link does process through ClickBank, you can look at the destination URL for the Paypal button. If it is formatted such as:

      http://sku.vendor.pay.clickbank.net/?zipcode=xxxxx&paymentMethod=pypl&country=xx

then it is a direct to Paypal ClickBank payment link and commissions will be paid.

      I hope this helps.
      The ClickBank Team

To clarify, this is only true if the vendor is using a ClickBank direct-to-Paypal link. If they are selling through their own Paypal link, no commission will be paid.

          Thanks,

Can you check and tell me if the vendor in question has Clickbank's Paypal or its own? I mean according to the explanation ?

The source code shows that references to ClickBank have been commented out so it's possible that this page is for vendor sales only (via Paypal) and there may be a different page for ClickBank affiliates.

I note that the product is not in the ClickBank Marketplace (though that is not mandatory), however I have found a ClickBank affiliate link but this leads to the same page ie. Paypal only.

                    .

The vendor in question isn't using click bank PayPal links. Therefore, don't promote it uless you're a filanthropist or otherwise like working for free.
