Wrote an ebook... Best route to make money?

I'm looking for a little guidance here. I'm not exactly a newbie, better classified as lost and desperate.

I'm kinda sorta drowning in student loans and trying to find some way to help. I work 40 hours and go to school, so please don't get all "mom" telling me to get a job.

When I was younger, I dabbled as a CB affiliate and made $150, I believe. Simply because I wrote a Squidoo article that wasn't deleted. I gave up a few months later because I was in high school and chose to spend time with friends instead of doing something productive.

Now that I'm in this "tough" spot, I've decided to get back into the game a little. I have a decent knowledge of making money from mobile apps. I wrote an e-book teaching readers how to make money with apps and the App Store. I believe the ebook is decent. I mean, I have perfect English and did a good amount of research.

When I started writing the ebook, I planned on launching it on Clickbank. I've since started to question that. I have no affiliates on board, no lists, nothing. I would love to keep with the Clickbank idea if I was given the guidance to do so. Having some IM affiliates lend an open hand wouldn't hurt, either.

The point here is, what would someone with more experience than myself suggest? Amazon, WSO, CB, promote it independently? If worst came to worst, I'd be happy to even just sell the ebook itself. Really need some money here to keep hope alive here, folks.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Why not write e-books for Amazon's Kindle platform? That's the route I would go.

I once wrote a very short of book 4 pages, made a bad one page website, and priced it for $9.99

I promoted it on a forum, made about 3 sales and got banned ... and dropped that project, but it is still getting one sale per 2 months or so on auto pilot.

The potential was good, what if I made top notch website, and promoted it correctly?

    There you go.

    As people have mentioned above,

    Kindle.
    Your own website.
Clickbank maybe? (dunno how being a vendor works)
See if people you know would be interested.
I don't know if eBay allows it, but there's a place to sell if so.

There are a ton of ways to sell, do some Google searches, read IM blogs and so on!

    Hope this helps,

    Karl

I think you should give your product away for free on a WSO to build your list. PLR products are great.

If you're after quicker cash or don't like the idea of spending time setting up a site/marketing funnel etc, just sell the rights to the book to someone needing content in that niche. If it is well written and researched there will be buyers.

    Hi W,

Hmmmm....if you need money and are drowning in debt here's what you do: change your vibe

Money sprints from needy folks, and it certainly runs away, and eludes, people who feel overwhelmed with debt.

List 1,001 things in your life you feel grateful for. Change your vibe, your feeling around money.

Then, sell your eBook on Amazon and Selz. Amazon's a search engine, a Google of eBooks. Selz will pay you weekly while you build up Amazon residual checks, so you can get paid while waiting to hit your Amazon threshold.

As for the eBooks, tell a story, and write authentically. Practice writing, writing and writing a bit more each day. Then write some more. Writing makes you a skilled writer - duh right - and skilled writers churn out inspired eBooks.

Promote pros from your niche. Build bonds with them. Ask for endorsements - in return for free eBooks - and these testimonials can be pure gold for you, a major league sales booster. Endorsements have helped me expand my presence pronto on Amazon and on Selz.

Onward and upward, and keep on thinking abundance!

You need some leverage man. Use it as an ethical bribe behind an opt-in on your blog. You need to find a way to build a following. In other words find a way to get people to give a crap about what your doing. A good way to do this is (youtube to blog) combo. Publish regularly. Good luck man.

P.S. This bit right here: "I'm kinda sorta drowning in student loans and trying to find some way to help." SOunds desperate. I get that but you know you will have to lose that vibe to sell anything.

I have found two ways to really do that. Improve your situation so your not desperate (i.e. get a job) or secondly, educate yourself on what works well. I mean like really really educate yourself on it, like sleepless nights and shit pouring over ebooks and videos. Setting a path and committing to it and above all believing in your cause no matter how bad things get.

    That's the warriors road man.

Good luck in ALL your ventures.

Is this question about a quick way to make money, or making money from the product you specifically made?

Because if you have the ability to make apps or interested in making apps, or have the ability to consistently create articles there are ways to realistically make passive income.

If you are good at writing and are in a niche where people are already spending money. Go for kindle and amazon.

Else setup a sales page on your website and send traffic to it.

    Cheers,

    C.G.
