referrer spam
Newbie to the site here. This forum looks awesome. My wife and I run a food and nutrition blog, as she's a registered dietitian.
On the blog we get a bit of referrer spam. I'm not even sure exactly how this works, but random sites will show up in my referrers list, like iloveitality.co and bestwebsitesawards.com
Going to those urls will just forward to a place like aliexpress.com or something like that. The only thing I can figure out is that the owner of the forwarding sites are actually targetting me, as a site owner, and getting my visit to their url might earn them a fee from aliexpress
Anybody else experience this? What do you do about it?
