fixing / deleting bad local citations?

I am working with a client and he has had three years of citations built and not much of a roadmap to trace. A law of the directories I'm not even sure if our active anymore.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for fixing or deleting bad / outdated local citations that were built by you?

Does anyone have any genius ideas?

it is really simple to find and delete wrong NAP citations.... simply go to brightlocal and hit citationstracker tab... put your wrong NAP info you are facing in search and here you go... it will find all your wrong NAP citations...

after you find wrong NAP citations... go to directory claim it.

I would start with the larger data aggregators that feed the rest of the citation sites.

Check out Infogroup, Neustar, Acxiom, and Factual. Get these set up and give them some time to propagate to the other sites. This will give you a good start and save a ton of time.
