None of my domains listed in google?

A few months back, i had a vps account that hosted about 50 domains. It was hacked and I lost all my data. I have been reconstructing the websites on another server account, but i guess because of the hacking, none of the domains are listed when I search for them on google. (for page rank)

Is there a site where I can search these domains to see if they are under penalty? If they are under penalty, how do I get that removed so they will be listed again. I don't want to waste my time doing seo if the sites are not going to be seen.

Thanks,

Mickey

    Mickey,

I've never heard of Google disclosing, at one location, all the sites that they have "penalized" for whatever reason. Contacting Google support directly may help you to understand their system better.

You can use Google's site operator to search Google's index for a website. This is helpful if you aren't sure if your site has been indexed by Google or you want to see how many of your web pages are in Google's index.

    site:YourSite.com

Leave off the "www" and the http:// portion of the website address. This will allow Google to pull all instances of the site regardless of whether it found a "www" version or simply a http:// version.

At least you would know if any of your sites/pages are still indexed.

There is no reason for those websites to be under penalty, if you have done legit SEO on them you don't have to worry. Just submit them to webmasters tools.

      Rosario,

I did all the regular things - backlinking, articles, press releases, keyword research, etc., and several were on the first page of google, and all the sites were ranked before the hack, but after the hack they were no where to be found.

And thank you Steve and Nicola for the links and advice. I will get started in the restoration process next week, I guess I am just a little parinoid after the hack.
