I'm confused! What content should I add to my blog?

First, you have to keep in mind that when you search for something on Google, you get a list of websites on the first page with results related to your query, and your website can be displayed on the first page as well, though that usually take time trying to rank on the first page through SEO.

But what's important to know, is that it's possible for the 5th website on the 10th page of Google can jump to the 3rd place in the 1st page.

The good news is that you can switch to another method like social media, videos... in order to have your website visited by people interested about your topic. You don't necessarily have to go the SEO way.

Mayberry you should write Your content by looking through forums and finding where the most problems are related to your niche and not have Seo as your only source of traffic. There are tons of other ways to drive traffic to your site besides seo, such as banner ads and using social media platforms. Base what you write on what you see others need help in and use other traffic methods along with a little Seo. You ca. Get rank as well from visitors commenting on post you wrote which provided help to them.

I could roll to another page even though the answer is in first page and first ones. I used it hit the first one few years back, but from Google algorithms considering 5th is the best one for my problems.

wordpress is really a good niche, because there are many web designers and IMers who are using it now. There are many affiliate programs for plugins and themes too. Do you think I am wrong?

No, I think you are right. You could drive traffic by creating screen capture videos explaining how to do things with/in WordPress.

#1. How to secure WordPress
#2. How to install WordPress
#3. How to speed up a WordPress Blog/Site
#4. How to optimize WordPress Posts and Pages for SEO
#5. The list is big.

I'm just saying, if you don't know what to "blog" about concerning WordPress - than you should research the niche.

The biggest competition any of us have is the 6 inches between our ears. That internal voice saying "Your not good enough", "it has already been done" "Who is going to listen to me" "How do I start"

People put out material on the same topics each and every day and have for years. How many WSOs have you seen on Generating Traffic, Building Blogs, Building Links, Producing Videos, Using CPA etc etc etc. And there is still a huge market for them!

How many people have written about Diet, Nutrition, Weight Loss etc? And there is still a market for it.

Express your personal perspective and feeling on whatever topic you choose and you will find people that will resonate with it. You are and will be the teacher for someone else out there. Trust that!

I believe that you need to create content based on your target market.

Create different personas for each of your target market. Learn their behaviours, likes, dislikes, problems,
etc.

Create content based on that then join different communities based on your niche

Communicate with your audience and build a community

Give value to your community and the money will follow
