Recommendations on a book to help me get my feet wet in Internet marketing.

I have a marketing degree, so I am not completely new to the world of marketing. However, aside from selling a few items on eBay, I have not done anything over the Internet designed to generate income.

I know there are a lot of different routes you can use to make money with Internet marketing. I'm not sure which avenue is best for me. I'm looking for a book that would help me become educated on several different avenues so that I can make the right choice.

I'm definitely an auditory learner. I would be looking for something in audio format.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and advice.

I'm not sure if an audio version is available but I highly recommend Launch by Jeff Walker.

Most good resources will focus on one narrowly defined topic.

I know that most books are going to have a narrow focus. I'm not looking for one book to be the definitive guide on everything. I am looking for one book to help me get acquainted with a couple of different things.

If you want to be really good in doing money online there are few things you really need to master, and one of this is promotion.
A blog or website you can buy it, also you can buy a product and it last for long, but the marketing activities is something hard and time consuming, but also the most important thing to start with.

I suggest you to learn how to promote products, email marketing, forum marketing, social network marketing, free and paid traffic, There is no book enought about this, you should explore Youtube and the entire Web searching for good blogs about that (also feel free to head to mine income report and tutorial sometimes).

There you will really learn what you need to get to the money.
And finally you cannot do any real marketing activities without learning how to track your performance so Google analytics should be you daily task.

Go check out webinar swaps. There are plenty of free replays that you can check out. There is a product at the end. But, this will give you some ideas for free.

Thanks for reminding me about them. I used to be on their email list. Everything I've been interested in cost at least $200. I'm sure eventually I will find freebies. I'll keep checking them out. At the very least, I can use them for ideas and then find something similar on YouTube.

There are no specific books on where you can learn IM, although you have some books where you can learn Marketing principles which you can apply to IM, copywriting, etc.. I found just one book for IM from John Chow, try to find it on google.

        Walther,
I was able to find "making money while you sleep "on audible.com. I will definitely check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. It seems to be very well reviewed.

      Antonio,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have been doing that. It works pretty well. I am thinking that an audiobook might be a quicker way for me to build a broader base of knowledge.
