Looking for a good way to make money online

Hello guys,

my name is Michael, I'm 19 years old and from Germany. I recently started to study business administration in Munich.
As a student, you probably can imagine, that I need a job to make my living.
After several low paid jobs, I decided to make money online.
I started with a Facebook page (4500 likes at the moment) and some Tumblr accounts (the best has 2500 followers). I will continue posting on these accounts daily, because I think it's never a bad thing to have people, interested in a special thing. When I have more likes I will promote affiliate links.
I even bought a video curse and ebook by a internet marketer ( not sure if I can say the name here), but I'm not completely convinced by his method.

Do you have any good advice for me ? I know that making money online isn't easy, but I'm willing to work hard.

hope you can help me

You are definetly on the right path. One piece of advice is that you might want to consider building a list. Start collecting the e-mail adresses of your facebook-page visitors and tumblr-pages. Then send them a good email every now and then, promoting a product that they might enjoy.

    good luck and stay persistent!

Here's how it could work in your specific situation (I'm assuming that you don't have a website and only have a Facebook page and a Tumblr blog):

Your fans and viewers go to an attention-grabbing post in your Facebook page and Tumblr blog. This attention-grabbing post has an enticing video and compelling text with a link that points to your opt-in form. This attention-grabbing post highlights the value that your fans and viewers can get from a downloadable material, which they can get by just giving their first names and emails in the opt-in form that's linked by this post. They click the link, fill out the form, get your downloadable material and receive your Thank You email. That's it...

Here's a relevant case example to illustrate how you can do this:

I create a free software product. I get an AWeber account at $1 for the first 30 days and around $20 for each succeeding month. I go to my AWeber account and create a mailing list and a hosted opt-in form. My target viewers can get my free software product download by just filling out this form with their first names, emails and mobile numbers (optional); and

I create an enticing video that talks about the value that viewers can get from my free software product. I post this video in my Facebook page and Tumbler blog. I also include an attention-grabbing title and custom thumbnail image in my video post. I also include compelling text with a link that points to my hosted opt-in offer form in AWeber. I'd also include in my video subtle yet compelling reminders for my fans and viewers to share this video post and talk about the value of my free software product in their own social networks, sites, blogs and other online places where they hang out. By doing these things:

My Facebook page fans and Tumblr viewers will see my attention-grabbing post, watch my enticing video, feel compelled to click the link, fill out my opt-in form, get my free software product, use my software, gain benefits from using my software, share my video post and talk about the value of my free software across their own social networks, sites, blogs and other online places where they hang out. That's it...

P.S. Since you mentioned that you already know how beneficial a mailing list of active subscribers can be for your online venture, then I won't go into much detail of how you can nurture friendly professional relationships with your subscribers...

Absolutely agree with comments here talking about list building. People are always worried about how to drive traffic and with a responsive subscriber list you can do that. Focus on delivering value to that list of subscribers, treat them as people and not as numbers and you'll do well.

With your subscribers, dependent on your chosen marketplace, find out what they need help with and provide the help in the form of digital products, if you can, that will bring you an income. A low cost membership site may be something you might want to follow up with, again if appropriate to your marketplace. This can provide you with a consistent income.

Starting a blog and building a list is one way to go. When you have a blog with product reviews and articles that drive people to those reviews and a list as well, that's like having two income streams on the same blog. You'll have the people that come to your blog through the search engines because of a review or article that buy something, and you have the list of people that you you promote stuff to who will also buy stuff.

One of the good things about having a blog is that you can work around your own schedule, so you'll still have time to get your homework and stuff done. IF you have the time and really like writing, you might be able to become a ghostwriter -- someone that writes content for other marketers. This could be tricky, though, since you'll have to work around your class schedule and what not. You could also start a Private Label Rights content store.

A PLR store is where you write content in article packs on various topics -- based on the kinds of things marketers are looking for in the search engines. For instance, someone that has a toy site but doesn't like to write might search Google for "toy plr" packs. They could buy this content, modify it, and put it on their blog. PLR is cheaper than having something ghostwritten. For the marketer, it's like a cross between having a blog (income is residual because of search engines, work around your own schedule, etc) and being a ghostwriter (get paid via Paypal).

You can check out ghostwritingcash.com for more on having a ghostwriting business and plratm.com for more on having a PLR store. I hope this helps some.

Learn email marketing before you do anything else. You can learn a lot from autoresponder sites like Aweber.

Thanks for the great answers so far.
I wil focus on building a list and setting up an affiliate website at first.
I'm a little bit afraid of setting up a blog, because my english is not that good. Writing daily articles could become a problem .
I'll let you know how it goes.
Always happy to get good input, so if you got any tips in addition, then please tell me.

Building a list is important but not just by email should be thinking about SMS. Learn about paid traffic, WordPress, landing pages, video marketing, ect. Pick a high converting product or service and drive traffic to it. I know nothing here that is revolutionary! :-)

As for advice, spend an read as much as you can here in the warrior forum, but do not buy too many wso and don't let it side track you!

Hey Michael, another way to make money online is doing t-shirt marketing. I'm a bit biased since I work for one of the platforms who offer that service.

Compared to other ways, I would say the advantage is that it's easy to get in, get information and start (you don't need a community, audience or email lists) and you can make very good amounts of money if you invest the time.

If you need info, I'm happy to skype with you, just hit me up on the forum.

A few years ago I would have recommended something along the lines of Empower Network. A program that offered mass amounts of people a solid foundation in getting started online.

I wouldn't recommend it today simply because it is no longer hammered by its affiliates, which means to me it has had its day.

I think what you're doing now is a good start, but make sure to keep it up and don't be afraid to add things to your plate. Explore, test things out, hang out in money making forums such as this one and over time things will surely pick up.
