Can Fiverr Make You $$$..

I often wonder if something simple like Fiverr can actually make $$$. With the amount of people offering wso etc etc claiming it can be done. Has anyone actually made a decent profit with Fiverr?.. I noticed a Fiverr course recently that claims it can..

Cheers

The trick to making a high-income from Fiverr is by reselling services. You aim to profit from lack of information and time by reselling services in a niche market situation. I'll give you a simple example.

Option 1: You create a gig on Fiverr offering video presentations.

Option 2: You resell existing video presentation gigs to local businesses.

With option 1 your time is limited. You can only satisfy a low number of gigs. With option 2, however, acting as the middle-man, you profit from the mentioned lack of time and information. Local businesses may be willing to pay you $20 (often a lot more) for video presentations simply because they're either unaware of these Fiverr gigs or lack the necessary know-how to organize them.

Totally agree! Fiverr gives such good value that its not that difficult to arbitrage those gigs to buyers willing to pay a premium. Personally I believe the standard of seller on Fiverr is rising as it becomes more and more main stream.
In the long term I can see Elance and Odesk suffering as sellers migrate from their platforms.

Fiverr is the most simple way to make an extra buck online. Create a gig and wait for the sales to come.
I made 5 gigs 7 months ago. And i have to say, it's not much but I made $894 from them.
However I use this money to hire freelancers. So afterall, I hire freelancers for free...
Just make sure you deliver value to your customers

This is exactly how I use fiverr. I have a balance from my own gigs. So They pay for my graphics and covers. I wouldn't pursue trying to make a full time income with it.

The real gems on making money on fiverr is based on your services.
You have to offer services which people are already spending money on it..
such as article writing, seo, backlink, graphic design & so on ..

    There's guide revealing this topic.
I forgot what's the name of it.
What i remember is that it reveals an outstanding list of services that you can offer to make money on fiverr..the list is based on what i said above...services that people are raving for it..

A lot of the top recommended gigs on fiverr are absolutely bogus. Like sellers of "bot" traffic that will drive your site straight to Google Analytics Hell, or the guy that submits to 400 search engines. You can make a lot of money off of fiverr by selling snake oil.

But I've made close to $30,000 off fiverr since 2011. I would focus on gigs that take you less than 15 minutes to do. Focus on automation.

Make sure you over deliver, and that you give yourself enough time to deliver your gigs. I was hospitalized in 2012, and fiverr sent me from the top number one recommended gig on the site (and home page) to the sandbox.

Always over deliver. Advertise that you will get it done in 3 to 5 days, but deliver it the same day if possible. There are many ways you can add value and/or over deliver with your gig.

You also have to create ways to automate, optimize, and streamline your gigs. When buyers, or anyone that contacts you has a question, take a note of what they say and keep it in a word document, that way you have "form letter" scripts that answer common questions.

Also, write an awesome description that focuses on your main selling points at the top. Read what the top rated sellers have in their title/description, and try to write something better.

Create a video about your gig, but make sure it has attention grabbing image in the first second of it.

Finally, advertise your gig in your warrior forum footer, and look for threads related to fiverr or the "subject" of your type of gigs.

Also, when someone helps you on fiverr, they are taking their valuable time to help. Help them back buy clicking "thanks" just below this sentence on the right hand side.

Making money on Fiverr is all about creativity. Just putting up gigs on fiverr and "hoping" for someone to come and buy might not always be a good idea.... unless what you're selling is really in-demand and in a low competition niche. Otherwise, you might want to use fiverr in combination with something else that can bring traffic (and exposure to your gigs).... how about blogging about your gigs?!

I agree, Fiverr is a good way of making some money online, however there are other ways to make money online which can be a lot more beneficial money wise. So you need to look at where your time and effort is most valuable. Selling something digital such as a report on fiverr is your best option as it doesnt effect you time, yet brings in some extra money.

Personally I find it the easiest to start making money quickly on Fiverr by providing a service that is in high demand, such as video testimonials. These days video testimonials are all the rage and if you’re not extremely shy in front of a camera, you can certainly start making some money by investing in a decent quality camera. And pretty much that’s it! Just follow your intuition and have fun doing it, and understand that at the beginning you’re not gonna be making a lot of money shooting videos of yourself, but if you look at the ones on Fiverr that have 2000 plus positive reviews, you know that there is serious money to be made if you persist, which is what I’m aiming to do.. so far I’ve got about 10 but I’m optimistic that through hard work and dedication I’ll be driving the numbers up steadily..

The key is creating value for others while having fun doing it, and be consistent.. creating a service is easier than creating a product, so go out there and start servicing others doing what you love!

    Regards,
    Mike

Well obviously graphic related fiverrs are doing good - If you have a real talent you can do well on fiverr. I buy a lot of graphics and am always tipping the guys because really they are underpaid for the results. But I think the big key is all about the addons - before you know it you've dropped 50 bucks..

And fiverr is kinda addictive, I mean you keep thinking its just five bucks - let 's plant a tree in the amazon.....

Put all your talents on paper and see what you've got to offer. I bet there's a lot.

Think outside the box and provide a service that people need. Spend time on your profile and have the maximum gigs that are in demand with videos, cool graphics, keywords in the descriptions etc. I know many people on there doing extremely well as they focused on their profile, high in demand gigs and provide a first class service so that their clients keep returning. So yes Fiverr can be a powerful income earner.

I've been with Fiverr for four years now and have made a decent amount.
Most people have their own ideas about how to make money with the site,
but I tend to follow my own blueprint -

    1. Carry out tasks which take less then 15/20 minutes
    2. Don't promise anything you CAN'T deliver
    3. Offer a decent BONUS
    4. Use the gig extra facility (subject to status)
    5. Offering additional things on your completed delivery
    6. Enjoy what you're doing (very important)

There are other things to think about which include making full use
of the description area to showcase your gig, using highlighting and
bullet points for extra effect, a catchy title, good images and having a
video for your gig will help, as people generally like the visual effect.

One of the recent changes to Fiverr and is a real pain in the a@@ is
the new processing of 50c which equates to 10%. The sooner this gets
removed the better in my opinion, as it's causing a lot of headaches in
the community for both buyers and sellers!

its most certainly possible to do. I have been making money in some form or another through fiverr for quite a while now.

Its a great platform to get started if you have little or no budget and want to raise some capital reasonably quickly. The most profitable method of using fiverr is certainly reselling services from fiverr for more money but of course this method does require a bit more legwork to find clients but its well worth it.

        Oooops!

Reading further, I've discovered that custom quotes was introduced in Feb 2014 for Top Sellers only ($10,000 max).

Then in Sep 2014 it became available for Level2 sellers ($10,000 max)

Finally in Jan 2015 it became available to Level 1 sellers ($1,500 max)

So yes in Feb 2014, it was only for Top Rated Sellers, but is now open to all Fiverr Level sellers and apparantely new sellers still give custom quotes too but to a max of $325.

Waiting to obtain 50 individual consistent orders in 8wks, whilst maintaining a 4.5 star rating or above and a low cancellation rate shouldn't be too long to wait to reach Level 1, if a gig is popular.

So I stand corrected with you BarbLing

For more details, Fiverr custom quotes and their Levels criteria can be found on this Fiverr webpage.

Yes, you can earn alot from Fiverr only if you provide quality service. Besides focusing on your profile, mostly searched keywords in your description, quality image of your gig, or a video that shows exactly what you offer, these are the steps which can make you top rated seller. Once you go to top then no body can stop you earning lot of bucks except bad reviews.

    3. Some people hire people and manage them and occasionally work themselves.
    4. Be prepared to vigorously market you gig at the starting point.
    5. Avoid anything that will bring about negative review like plague.

If you want to make money through Fiverr, I strongly suggest you make a video for your gig. A video of your services or product is one of the most effective and powerful method, however making use of something deserves doing.

Fiverr can make you money if you really set your mind to it and if you provide a few different services.

However, you can easily create a Wordpress site and sell your services from you own site for much more money. Your website would have to look very professional (there are many free templates that can do this) and you can process payments via PayPal.

If you go this route, place an introductory sales video on the top (above the fold) of your website and make your front page your sales page complete with testimonials, etc.

    Yes, it does.

I used to offer designing services on Fiverr and I'm a Level 2 seller and I have 366 reviews (5 star)

I stop 2 months ago because I want to focus on I.M.

Here's my fiverr id: ecovermonster if you want to see some proof :-)

Before you jump into fiverr, are you sure this is the RIGHT business model for you?

If you're selling your skills on fiverr (ie: writing, designing), is an active job. Meaning you have to deliver every orders that comes in.

I'm not saying that fiverr is no good, just my personal opinion.

    Hope it helps :-)

Yes, you can make a few quid on the site and there are a few of the more established folk making in excess of $60k per year. I've been a seller on the site for four years now and have enjoyed a fair amount of orders and success.

The key areas are not promising things you can't deliver, getting good feedback, being able to do task in less than 20 minutes, making full use of the description area, relevant tags and a gig video (optional) and in being consistent.

Once you start getting orders you want them to become repeat customers and making sure you have other offers on each of your completed orders like a sign up page or your own product offer.

I don;'t believe that a course can help you a lot, but you can definitely make some good money with Fiverr. I can tell you that from my own personal experience.

Yeah loads of people make money with Fiverr you can offer anything such as article writing and that the easiest is offering a kind of product like a guide or email swipes its dead simple to deliver then you just upload the guide and give the customer the URL. You can even put a link in the guide and build a buyers list.

I think it might be a good starting place for some people, but I personally am not at a stage where I am interested in working with new clients that are paying me as little as $5. I can't easily scale that. I prefer to go for larger projects.

Yes you can earn money via fiverr but it will take time. You will have to be patient and provide top quality service at dirt cheap price. Once you start getting 5 star reviews and recommendations, your orders in queue would increase drastically and then you can earn some extra money by adding the additional gigs option.

I didn't make much with Fiverr because, I feel $5 is too low for a logo deisgn and I feel like being exploited by the client. If I had patience, I would have probably got more orders but I just can't.

There are a few keys to making money on fiverr:
-Easy delivery. At only five bucks a pop, you really don't want to be taking on a lot of work for each sale.
-Upsells. You want to offer quality ad ons, once you've reached a level where you're allowed. Double, triple, or quadruple your profit, ideally with little extra effort.
-Get your customers onto your list

Yes it can. I've made thousands of dollars off Fiverr. It's all about OVER DELIVERING and picking a HOT service niche. Also, make sure you pick a PASSIVE income method-this means not doing new work each time. Stick to 'packaged work' like advice or premade reports, etc.

Its an eye catching advert. You can earn by fiver but you need to learn and know how you can earn money out of it. Many people are earning their livelihood using online marketing.
