What time of the day should I launch?

I launch a course to a regular mixed audience of workers and retired people. Should I launch during the day or early evening? Any advice on this would be fantastic!

    Mid afternoon in the Uk is early morning in the US, so it works alright for me.

    I guess it depends where you are targeting to in the world especially after reading what others have posted, but generally I am logging on to my computer in the morning, middle of the day and evening. There is a huge percentage of people doing it this way....before they go to work, during their lunchbreak and evening...and then there are those who are checking their emails or social sites all and I mean all day. I guess you need to know generally when your audience is 'on'. I would do a few prelaunches before the LAUNCH.....if you give people the heads up before hand it all stimulates excitement...then when you launch I would do a morning one and then an evening one like 'incase you missed it'. Hope this helps....this is what I do.

    I would say mid day when the majority of people get off of work. Not everyone is full time especially your target market if you are promoting Internet based products. Morning and too late in the afternoon would be a little less efficient.

    I find people start checking their emails after work between 5pm and 6:30 pm
