The Highs & Lows of being an Affiliate Manager

Been quite an interesting 3 months into the new year thus far. I have seen lots of highs and lows being an AM. Some things I have realized are as follows:

-Fraud is imminent
-You have to work twice as hard as your affiliates
-Only a select few are committed
-It's a 24 hour 7 day a week gig

I don't mind any of the above. I enjoy the hustle. Ive picked up tons of info and met a lot of good people. Always looking to meet more within this industry. Just thought id take a quick second and put that out there. Back to work!

"Only a select few are committed." I find this is true for most things in life. Cheers.

You are right, very few are actually committed on getting work done. But on the other side those few are always earning good money

I can totally see that.. I think this is where the 80/20 rule comes into place and why the top affiliates get the better treatment from the AM's

I'm just curious . . . given all the negative things you've stated . . . why would you choose to spend your time dealing with this garbage as an affiliate manager?

Why not develop your own product, get rid of all these headaches, and make a lot more money with your own business rather than working for someone else?

<<< Maybe you missed the part where I said "I enjoy the hustle". Also, not all things I have stated are negative. Sure, I have my side gig where I design and develop mobile apps/web sites. But I don't mind this business at all.
