What is recommended as a replacement for free WSO's. (now that they do not alow them anymore)...I have a start up e-book for internet marketing and wanted to do a free WSO and use it to get subscribers. I know you can do a classified ad but you don't get nearly the amount of traffic to it as a free WSO.

What can I do to get subscribers for my start up e-book for internet marketing?

Any other forums that I should look at similar to a WSO (free) for subscribers?

You can always sell it for $1.00 and instead of building a list of freebie seekers, you have a list of proven buyers.

    Hi..

If you want to make buyer list better if you sell your product in cheapest way, like $1 or 1 penny depend on you

You can make targeted people which having payment methods to join on your list, believe me. My internet marketing guru said 100 frebie list equals to 1 buyer list. It's amazing huh..

Please, think about it again if you want to release your free WSO

Your Guru said?? Sorry about your Guru (As always is)........ Give me a list of 100 freebie seekers. I'll reveal you 20- 30 buyers inside it. The point is, we all are freebie seekers but spend money when it's not available for free.

That's actually true, but I don't think name calling was warranted here. He probably meant that there's less chaff if you have a "buyer" pool over a ton of freeloaders.

THIS! If you know what people want, and position it in front of them, any freebie seeker can quickly become a buyer.

    Exactly as Muhamad said.

I would rather have 10 buyers than 500 freebie seekers on my list any day of the week.

You see to get your buyers list built, you have to have a low barrier of entry to build that buyers list.. It don't matter if it's a product that is $1.00 or one that is $4.00.

You want and NEED to be building that buyers list, because they are proven buyers and will buy again.

I posted my freebie offer in the classifieds and ended up with a list of just under 500. Had an OTO to finance the whole thing and attract affiliates.

As Dave said, you can post in the Classifieds section. Or post in the WSO section and charge $1 for it. I've seen both strategies work well recently.

    You could try...

    1) Advertise with a banner ad on the top or bottom of the WarriorForum.

    2) Go into a different niche

    3) Give the information away for free in a new thread, make the thread very popular, then direct people to your sig file for more good info (for free)

If you know the math in your business, and any of these options still allow you to come out on top profitable.... then you have very little to worry about.

Please explain to us, why you decided to got rid of FREE WSO and what the replacement is.

I was planning to launch a FREE WSO, but they are no more.

"They" being Freelancer don't have to explain jack to you or anyone else...
They decided to cleanup that wretched excuse for a market place known as the WSO forum which was long overdue, as a part of the cleanup they decided to do away with free WSO's...

I feel for you but it's for the greater good...

I'm pretty sure you can still put up a "free" WSO in the WSO section by using Warrior Plus and setting the price to $0 for the FE product (whatever it is you are giving away). HOWEVER, you must have at least one OTO in the funnel that you are charging for. I've recently seen this still happening in the WSO section.

I could be wrong but I think this is allowed because although you are giving away your FE product for free, you have an OTO or two in your funnel that is NOT free.

CORRECTION: I am wrong. Those types of offers are now appearing in the classifieds section as well.

There is a lot of attacking in this thread that is unwarranted and unwarrior like. There is many ways to skin a deer but if you believe your way is superior and that everyone else is wrong you will never learn anything. Calling people names and insinuating that others are less of a person will not achieve anything. Keep it civil.

As everyone has said you can still list a product for free in the classified section which is right as WSO are suppose to be the best prices on a product. You can not really call a freebie offer a special price as it is free.

The WSO section was a mess and the new rules are an attempt to create some order and value.

FREE WSO's are nothing more than list builders - everyone knows that, even those who don't want to admit it. There was nothing "special" about them.

I'm waiting for smart cookie to figure out you can do a "pre-launch" that is a "freebie" in the classified section and then transition it to a WSO on the launch. A new kind of funnel - it's called "marketing".

See it is out of the box thinking like that in which millionaires are created. You are 100 percent right and I have seen similar done in the war room before.

I'm wondering the same thing man! Yesterday I submitted a free WSO and then they PM me saying they don't accept them anymore.

The classified ads section isn't worth it either. I PM'ed a couple of people to see if they were getting results with it and the numbers they told me weren't good.

You don't need to look elsewhere to post a free WSO. IMO, the classifieds section works really well if you have a quality product.

I recently released my first WSO and the most surprising thing for me so far has been how responsive my list is. Here are the numbers: 672 views so far, 129 subscribers, 11 unsubscribes, 6 sales for $63.40. I intentionally don't have a OTO in place. If I did, i probably would break even while building my list.

I have spent approximately $100 dollars (one original thread and 4 bumps) on this particular WSO (Adsense-related). This means I've paid approx. $36.60 for my 121 subscribers so far.

My open rate is hovering around 18% and my click-throughs are at approx. 6%. Not bad at all! For me, this is way better than solo ads.

Whether a free WSO in classifieds, or a $1 or other low price regular WSO, don't forget the upsell or one time offer (OTO)... it can offset the $20 WSO listing cost and keep you building a list at virtually no cost.
