Hi,

I am promoting my own ebook in the Netherlands. I only use organic traffic and I am nr 1 on Google on a lot of search terms. I drive traffic to my landingpage and my conversion is not bad. Now I think about building a list. Is it usefull for the "ex back" niche?

Anybody had any idea what I can also offer to my subscribers later on the auto responder sequense?

Sure I can use some CPA, but does anybody have any experience about product people tend to buy later on?

  • I would offer individual tips (and stories) in the auto responder sequence.

As far as a product people tend to buy later on goes, keep in mind that a portion of your readers will eventually get the ex back. So how about selling some kind of maintenance program? One that shows the steps necessary to avoid the problems that got them into their situations to begin with?

  • Ouch, sensitive topic ...

I wouldn't want my ex back even if someone offered to pay me a million - yet I guess it's just me.

As to the original question, seems like the basic relationship stuff could work.
  • "Ex-back" is one of those niches where people buy on impulse for an obvious reason: your ex broke up with you and you want her back ASAP. So... I would try to market the product to a prospect rather quickly, within the first week at least, before he talks some senses into his skull and dumps the ex for good hehe

Maybe a couple of emails with free tips would apply before presenting the offer, but I wouldn't stretch it out further than that. On "impulse" niches you want to rush the client to the product as soon as you have the chance.

By the way, I doubt there will be many chances for the prospect to buy more products on that niche in the future: you can try to get your ex back just one or two times at the most.

    • Yeah, I thought about creating a list for this market, but as mentioned, the situation is, generally, short lived and may not be worth the effort.
    • Well played LOL

If this is for males to get girlfriend back then majority of the time they get dumped because they were too needy etc. so maybe the Alpha Male clickbank product or something similar so he could actually hold onto her when he does get her back. Other offers could be sex/stamina techniques maybe even a cool sex toy for his lady with a nice affiliate program etc.
  • They're single now so how about some dating offers but not untill you've run out of steam with the getting your ex back series and sufficient time has passed.

Even if they dont' get their ex back, the chances are they at so will enter new relationships. Having lost someone they loved once, they won't want that to happen again so you could promote relationship maintenance ebooks.

    • Yes I also thought about offering dating products.
Do you people thinjk it's wise to use the same "sender" or use another nickname? I wouldn't like if I have bought a "repair you car guide" en a week later I get an offer from the same person with a "buy a new car guide"

  • I would keep sending them emails asking questions like...

"do you know where your ex is tonight?"
"is your ex dating anyone new?"

then remind them that you have the answer to all their problems - you can show them exactly how to get their ex back and live happily ever after!
  • Are you an ex-back expert?

    • You should definately go for list building for 'ex back' niche.

You can buy cheap products about ex back from Tradebit.com for giving to your subscribers.
  • Not sure if someone mentioned this. But you should offer them "Magic of Making Up". Its a great clickbank product for this niche.
