Looking For Solo Ad Sources

Hi All,

I'd like to try solo ads or ad swaps to build my lists, but I'm having a hard time find good sources for niches like fitness, nutrition and general health.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this?

Thanks
Mike

  • You can go to 'Solo Ad Testimonials' group on Facebook and ask if anyone sells solo ads for those particular niches.

This is the best advice. Look for the sellers with the most positive posts.

There are also FB groups for 'Solo Ads Sales testimonials'..

You can find solo sellers that produced sales for their clients but most of them are in 'make money online' niche

We always scan fiverr.com to look for small websites to advertise on.
Additionally, I am sure there are some on here that would have potential as long as the end produce differs.

I agree udimi.com is a good place to get Solos for other niches other than IM.

You can use the category section to filter out sellers and the ones you are looking for are in there.

Make sure you checkout the seller feedback to find ones that are more likely to send you good traffic

Contact people in your niche to arrange an adswap or to buy a solo.

Buying from "jack of all" solo sellers has been like swimming against the tide in my experience.

    Hi Mike,

We recommend the following to our clients:-

    1. You first need to join the Facebook group. Here’s the link:

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/SoloAdsTestimonials/

Once you get accepted in the group, you can browse through it to find sellers who have been getting sales. Or you can just do what I do and use the search button to speed up the process

First thing you need to do is click on the “Search” icon

    2. Now just type in the word “sales”

    3. This will show you all the people who left a testimonial in that group and mentioned something about sales. Just scroll through the people who left testimonials and contact those sellers.

Make sure you actually read the testimonials before you contact the seller. When you search the word “sales” it will show you each time the word “sales” was used. Some people leave testimonials saying “I didn’t receive any sales”.

    4. Now when it comes to the price, remember that prices are always negotiable. Always ask if they have a first time buyers discount.

Many of them will say yes because they don’t want to lose you as a long term customer. I personally never pay over 40 cents per click.

Many will try to sell to you at 45-50 cents per click but you can easily negotiate them down to 40 cents per click or less.

If they are unwilling to lower their prices then move on to the next seller. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of solo ad sellers out there who can help you generate sales.

    That's really a bummer.

    Try this -

On the google search box, put in "site:www.getresponse.com + [your niche]".

So if your market is fitness, you can have: site:www,getresponse.com + fitness.

    What does this do?

Well, it would pull up all websites related to your market that are using Getresponse as an autoresponder.

All you have to do then is contact these list owners (by opting in to their list or through their contact form) about doing a solo ad.

Just a bit of warning though, some of these site owners are not aware of the term 'solo ads'. So just mention that you'll pay to have them send a broadcast to their list. This can work to your advantage since most of these owners have no way of monetizing their list and you're offering something instant.

    You can pay two ways:

    1. per click (like solo ads)
    2. Per thousand of subs (I usually pay $5 to $10) per thousand subscribers. So if they have 25,000 on their list, you'd pay 25 x $5 or $10.

This can be a goldmine or a dud and there's no way of knowing it unless you take the risk. But it usually turns positive because unlike IM lists, these are people not usually bombarded with offers.

In my opinion these are the two best places to buy solo ads from:

    clickonomy.com
    udimi.com

Just check the seller reputation and feedback before buying from them and I recommend asking them a few questions like open rates, click through rate, responsiveness, and how often they promote solo ads to their list.

You can buy a solo from 30c/click to $1 on average. And since they are verified users you have back up.

If you look at the prices on this page https://udimi.com/search you will see examples like .49 (forty nine cents) and 1000 clicks etc.

Does that mean I can get one thousand clicks for forty nine cents or does it mean that the seller has 1000 clicks available and each one costs forty nine cents a piece?

      Thanks, Indy

Find the big guns in your niche and email them asking to purchase a solo ad. They will definitely have an email list and will most likely oblige.

A word of WARNING to the wise...

For those who want to purchase solos on Udimi, pls go to Kelvin’s Internet Marketing FAQs (Especially for Newbies…) | TrafficPillar - Empowering Internet Marketers In Mindset, Business, Product, Traffic & Conversion and look at my last question there and digest it.

Just doing my part to educate and not have newbies throw their money and not getting anything of substance.
