Hi I think short domain names are always good. I think they would add value if it 's related to your business. Maybe if it was some type of gizmo zip software or a site that offers hi tech gizmos...

It worked for Zappos, Google, Bing, and Yahoo - all meaningless but short and easy to remember words. Find a way to brand it and it can be gold. But that's going to take some work.

Any domain name will work, just get to work and start promoting it.

Gizzip is a lackluster brand name. I'd go in a different direction. Though it might just be a matter of making a slight change to drastically improve it.

I don't like the domain, but you can still use it if you're willing to spend time and money branding it. What's the story behind the name? What appealed to you about buying it? If you don't have a story, you'll need to make one up if you're gonna brand your company using this domain.

The domain name is not good enough for web development and i may think you have bought it for app development. My suggestion is get a nice domain so people can attract to your services.

I think that people are typing domain names less now. Hardly anyone can type and who can remember anything? We have given responsibility for remembering to Google and our Favorites list. Since short, snappy web names are so hard to get anyway, you might as well have longer ones with keywords in them. I'll even add hyphens since it helps to visually separate the keywords.
If you have enough money and luck, Gizzup could work out really well, too. Get a great looking logo that rips off the 7-Up logo somewhat and you may be on to something.

In my opinion, it would work. Now a days, its impossible to get a meaningful domain name. Its all acquired by someone or the other. Your domain is short and easy to pronounce. Work on branding, right from logo, social media covers to youtube videos. Promote it effectively and it will pay you back one day.
