The End Of IM As We Know It
I see that Ed Dale and the gang at 30 dc are putting on a proper TV show and it's being broadcast kind of worldwide.
Now, I'm beginning to think that if people see this on tv, IM is going to become a whole lot harder as there will be a mass influx of people doing it.
At the moment IM is relatively unknown, it is almost like a cult career but soon it will be mainstream and to be quite honest, I'm a bit worried.
When I tell friends about what I do, they are quite interested but not as far as to get right into it, even when I tell them how great it is and how they can even do it part-time etc. But many people out there, when they see it on telly for themselves with the 30dc, will at least want to try it, surely.
When I found out about IM, I suppose I was actively looking for it, most likely, people who do it now were. But if it is on TV it is going to be right in your face, whether you were looking for it or not.
I think some competition is good with fellow marketers and stuff and I think it's great when people find what they are looking for with IM but imagine the tidal wave or spammers etc that could be on the horizon, aargh.
What do you guys think?
