Passing referring URL

Hope to ask a quick question for anyone technical:
- How do I set up a forwarding link so that it traces where the user is clicking from?

      Thanks for your reply.
      Traffic is from an email list on aWeber which doesn't seem to pass out our referral link (partially). Would using CPV lab allow us to see the referral link?
