Why FB is useless for IM and MMO offers

Hey all,

Just wanted to post a quick thought about posting and sharing your offers on FB (via groups). From my experience, zillions of n00bs are posting those "make money" crappy and scammy offers each second on FB groups, but no one is reading them. Why? Because all those thousands of group members are IM spammers, who want to sell, not to buy.

So, in my humble opinion; stay away from FB and focus on other venues for promotion to save time and nerves.

What's your experience? Pls share

There is some truth to this. Although if you can separate yourself you have a chance on FB.

Think FB Fan Pages and buying ads that are Engagement ones and building it that way

Facebook has a billion users. Some of them want to buy your product. Obviously, you need to refine who sees your ad (paid?), the copy in the ad, and make sure people are biting if presented with good info about your product. So review:
    1. Who sees it?
    2. What do they see?
    3. How do they respond when they see it?

All of these steps must be checked to make sure you aren't missing something.

For me, roughly 2 out of 10 register, and of the people that register 1.5 out of 10 buy. Some parts of the world perform better than others, but overall my numbers are good.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

So the statistic for most is: From 100 people you have 10 clicks. From these 10 clicks - 1 sale. This is not for all niches, but is general.

You can always reverse engineer your competition using FB's amazing ad segmentation tools and come up with a PURE FB page you can market to. Of course, this requires investing in FB ads.

Sure..... if you SPAM face book groups with shifty MMO offers then yeah, you won't make any money - and you shouldn't!

But if you buy strategically targeted PPC traffic with paid ad campaigns with calculated re targeting campaigns than you can make money - sometimes a lot of it.

I successfully sell MY own MMO products this way and...... I did 7 figures in a "new age" market this way in 2014 (and will again this year).

That's your entire problem right there.

If you post crappy scammy offers, why is it a shock that nobody is interested? Post helpful, legitimate offers that don't look like the zillions you're complaining about and it's a whole different ballgame.

Agreed. To TS: Better yet, post actual informative value-laden content that walks the prospect through the KNOW-LIKE-TRUST-BUY process.

People need to trust you, you need to stand out from the crowd.

What does everyone in these groups do? Post their monetised offer right away. The people in these groups see so many of these offers they will not ever read them anymore, never mind buy something from you.

How do you stand out and get people to trust you and interact? Don't try to sell them something straight away. Instead post useful information in these groups. Post links to informative value packed articles on your site. Capture their emails on the blog, redirect them to your own social media platforms. Gain their trust, show them you have a lot of value to give, then they will be more than willing to part with some money to hear more of what you have to say.

Facebook can be your friend or it can be a waste of time. If you know how to separate yourself from the crowd, then you might benefit from facebook groups! It's all about how you approach people. You have to make them WANT to see your offer, posting generic scammy looking offers is indeed not a good idea.

Well I have made $181 in the last 2 weeks ok I no its not loads . I think its to do with the offer ( as always ) I used a auto-posting service and posted all sorts of offers (I don't use posting service now) I use to get loads of clicks and no one bought jack sh## .
I checked Clickbank yesterday just to look at the market place and when I sore I had made $181 dollars I couldn't stop laughing . So I don't know if that was fluke or if it was the offer . So posting to FB groups may work using the right approach?

I just want to add that Facebook is becoming stricter and they remove such comments quickly and they don't allow suspicious PPC campaigns too.

This is not news right? We allready knew FB groups are a waste of time because they are simply spam farms, right?

You won't see any conversions from those spammy groups. It's better for you to search groups that have a clear goal rather than just spamming..

But I do joined these kind of groups, just to let me know what are people promoting right now

If you buy advertising from Facebook I highly suggest you stay away from niches that promise people the world without having to put in any work (i.e. MLM,network marketing,biz-opps,etc). It's not worth losing your account over. All it takes is one ad with an exaggerated claim and it's grounds for account termination. I highly suggest you read Facebook's Ad Guidelines before you start buying ads.

As far as posting your deal in Facebook groups,an absolute waste of time from my experience..
