Would you be happy with $100 a day?

Would you be happy with earning $100 a day from your Internet Marketing business?

Or is that too little?

If someone showed you step by step how to consistently earn $100 a day, would you happy with that?

Maybe $100 sounds silly to many but to have a consistent $100 coming in daily would certainly ease up the stress that many marketers have.
And without that pressure you could try things that you may never had the guts to try before.

    I'd be happy

    nick1123,

Yes, I would love that! Consistency is key, because then you work a little harder or outsource your work to scale it up.

Do you have a system in mind that you were going to share

$100 a day consistently would be ideal at the moment. Like others have said, that gives you more freedom to try other ventures and methods, and outsource.

If it fixed me to $100 daily, I wouldn't be exactly happy, to be honest. Not that I'm making a lot of money from IM, but if I have $100/day I'd want $200/day. And when I got to $200/day.....

$100 a day with residual income - sure, that would be acceptable.

$100 a day spending 18 hours in front of the computer - not acceptable.

Most people who are new to IM are looking for a way to quit a crappy job or make extra money on the side. I worked in a warehouse for 5 years making 10/hr ($300 a week after taxes) I hated every minute of it that's why I turned to IM.

$100/per day = $36,500 A lot of people would be happy with that.

Can we get a $100 per day WSO? I'd buy it

Exactly what I am looking not to do. I would love to find a way to earn $100 in a matter of hours, instead of almost a whole day!

    Hi Nick,

As others have mentioned, it's consistency that is key.

Imagine being someone who isn't making any money online at all. $100 a day may sound good, but if there isn't any actual proof of that at a subconscious level, then it's nothing more than a fantasy.

For those starting out, I would suggest even $1 or $5 per day...every day. Then once you can do that consistently, bump it up to whatever you think the next level is. Rinse and repeat.

I'm not saying $100 is good or bad. What counts is whether or not it is achiveable based on one's current level of belief.

    All the best,

I look at it in a similar fashion as this.

The aim is for consistency, so I try to get one sale a day for whatever it is that I am promoting. I find it much easier to then put a monetary value on it. Once you have the consistent sale a day, then you can scale it up to two, three etc. and the $100 will come.

As a noob, I'd definitely be pleased with $1 or $5 per day. Any type of progress promotes hard work and expansion. I know that $100 a day is a pretty far fetched short term goal for most noobs.

I'd be extatic making $100 a day. I'd be happy making $30 a day. I'd be motivated making $1 a day (not that I'm not motivated now. Hopefully you see the point).

$100 a day "consistently" with reasonable amount of work(2-3 hours per day)... That will ensure that I can quit my daily job. Then its no looking back, scale up, test new methods etc..

If someone showed you step by step how to consistently earn $100 a day, would you happy with that?

At the moment I have a full time job which I would like to give up, so if I could make $100 a day working just part time that would be fantastic.

I could then double or triple my effort and make $200 to $300 a day, which would then mean I could quit my day job.

So I suppose the answer to your question is that yes I would be happy with making $100 a day, but only if this was acheived within a timeframe that would allow me to triple this and still be working less than 8 hours a day.

I don't have a WSO or anything right now. I know of a couple ways to make this kind of money and I am wondering if it would be worth writing a free ebook on the subject.

Sounds like at least a few people would be interested in a free ebook covering this.

100$ a day sounds pretty good for me.It's achievable but consistency and hard work are they key factors here,a little bit of side investment can speed up the whole process big time.

I am currently about an whole year in IM,not working, just reading for now and experimenting with things a bit,yes I know taking action makes money not just reading and jumping around from one thing to another but I made myself a solid plan for this long winter because I seen that it's achievable when I earned a few hundred bucks online.I understand that there isn't a perfect method for making money online, some methods work for some people fine while for others they are a total disaster, but I just want to have all what I need so I don't waste my time.

I'll have around 1000$ to invest into domains, hosting, custom made wordpress templates and article writers, plus an additional 200$ every month for articles.

My plan is to build 2 niche blogs(dieting and ....?) and my own money making blog, three blogs in total. And then promote them heavily through various forums, social networks, article marketing sites,SEO.....Adding at least 10-15 articles every month to my two niche blogs and writting posts for my money making blog almost every day will benefit me in the long term.I'll monetize them with adsense and affiliate products.

          My goals?

Believe me,they are achievable,I set them to low to fail.

I'll start in late september and my first short term goal is 10$ a day till new year,I'll have a bit more than three months for achieving that.My next goal is 50$ a day till 1st May and staying above that the whole summer,so I can quit my day job and invest time into IM and going out,it's crazy here in Croatia in summer, don't blame me for going out so much and then next winter diving heavily into IM and making a fortune online.

Anything more than 50$ a day is far from good for me,it can literally change my life to better, who knows maybe I'll be earning a lot more but the time will tell.

If you consider that I am currently earning 22$ a day from my day job then you know that anything above 50$ a day, consistenly,is the thing what I was dreaming of.

          But if I get above 100$ daily,I'll not stop,no chance....my long term goal is,few years,1000$ a day.

I got all what I need to succedd....

The will to earn money online....

          Wish me luck fellas.

          OMG

My english is better and better, you know,it's a bit hard because english isn't my native language, practice makes perfect.

          Wish you luck everyone.

  • I'm just fascinated by the replies. On one hand you have those who would welcome the $100 a day, but wouldn't be satisfied staying at that level. On the other, you have those who seem desperate; like $100 is everything in the world. This shows me something about the respondents.

Those who welcome the money, but would want to work toward improving that figure seem to show an attitude of dedication. These people, even in their short replies, convey a great "work ethic." These people would make great subjects, if you have a product you are about to promote.

The other group that acts like $100 a day is the best figure they have ever seen, seem uneducated in IM, and most likely would never follow through on any guide that would get them to that figure.

I am not being rude. It is just interesting how I feel about the responses to this thread. As I read through them, I find myself saying, "OK, that guy can do it, that guy can do it. Whup, that guy doesnt stand a chance..." Simply based on the desperation that is associated with wanting that $100 and being satisfied with it.

      Hi Charles,

You are right. That was the main reason I made my comments.

There are two groups, but I believe those who have a hard time imagining $100/day (or more) still deserve a shot. I believe that once they can earn $1 or $5 per day, consistently, they will have a new level of belief. However, that new level may only take the to $10 or $20. And so on.

Once they reach $100/day, I think the same effect would kick in. They would then have another new level of belief, maybe even $500 or $1000 a day.

To me it doesn't matter so much that some can't conceive of it right now, or that some think $100 is the pinnacle of success. The only reason for their thinking that way is that they are not even close to the $100/day...but when they get there (regardless of what monetary steps they take) that figure will be higher.

Encouraging some, not all, people to make $100/day causes their brains to shut down due to disbelief. So, start small, BUT only if you have to.

Well, I hope that all makes sense.

      All the best,
      Michael

I am not being rude. It is just interesting how I feel about the responses to this thread. As I read through them, I find myself saying, "OK, that guy can do it, that guy can do it. Whup, that guy doesnt stand a chance..." Simply based on the desperation that is associated with wanting that $100 and being satisfied with it.
I'm not sure that I see the connection between desperation and a strong work ethic. Desperation can make us have lower expectations but I don't see that it means someone has a weak work ethic. Desperation is a tough ol bird and can make us accept things we normally wouldn't but I don't see it as a barometer as to whether someone is willing to work or not. Many folks are desperate now days due to the economy and loss of jobs, etc. I guess what I'm saying is that a person can be desperate AND still be willing to put in the work.

I think there is also something to be said for contentment. Not everyone is out there to get more. If a hundred a day will make someone happy and content, more power to em.

For me, a consistent hundred a day would be great. Would I want to improve on that? Yep, you bet. However I wouldn't assume someone else doesn't want to put in the work simply because they are happy at the income level they've achieved. Maybe they would rather spend their time with their family or fishing or whatever the case may be. I don't see that as a bad thing.

For the record, I don't think you were being rude.

I like your train of thought but would have to disagree. Most of everyone that responded to these threads would have answered the same way if the question was "Would you be happy with $10,000 a day?"

I work very hard to try to make a successful online biz and would be extremely happy with a $100 a day. But in no way does that imply that I wouldn't want (or be motivated) to make more. It was a simple answer to the question... YES!

I would not be happy with 100.00 a day. After taxes that is only about $75.

$100 a day would pay all of my bills and I would have some spending money left over. I would be thrilled with that amount of money!

I'm young, living with my parents ATM. $100 a day would help my family out tremendously. It's my goal to be making that much in the near future.

$100 a day is a good start. But if you focus on that figure you are really limiting your mindset and you might find it hard to beat the $100/day barrier. Whereas if you see $100 a day as merely a stepping stone to something bigger, you'll be surprised at how much quicker you'll reach it.

I see a commonality in so many of the posters in this thread - myself included. I work hard at a day job that gives me $66 a day before taxes. In a metro Detroit economy, changing to a better paying job has not been an option. IM is our best hope, and $100 a day consistently from a couple of hours a day of effort would allow me to leave that job, and scale up with the time that's my own.

I'd be thankful to have $100 a day. Other than having nothing at all.

    $100 a day ... yeah I would be happy

    $10 a day ..... Yeah I would be happy

I look around me and see so many that have it bad that when I wake up in the morning I am happy .

Of course at $100 a day my happy arse would be looking for a dry place to stay and somewhere to plug the laptop in :-)

Honestly , for those that are not making any money online this is a great goal.

Don't even have to be that much . I am a firm believer that if the newbie would set a goal at only $1000 a month, they would still be around when it was $1000 a day time .

Whoa, $100 a day consistently would be just rad. But are we talking spending whole day and working our butt off, or is this couple hours of work every day sort of thing??
I would be interested also if you have a method for this that you're willing to sell.

I would be very depressed if I was making $100/day. I'd probably get a job if that was the case.

On the other hand, if someone showed me how to make an ADDITIONAL $100/day I would say yes.

It all depends on how much time it takes to make that $100.00. 1 hour of work - Great!! More than 5 hours, then it's time to examine your promotion methods and conversion rates, and decide whether it's time to promote a different product.

$100 a day is a great start. The best part of hitting $100 / day is that you usually have a replicable method at that point. Once you've got that down, it's just a matter of putting in the time and effort and scaling your business up.

Given that we know - and many of us teach - that Internet marketing has the potential to help you earn a really good living, it seems to me that $100 a day is setting the bench way too low.

Whether $100 a day seems an adequate return on your time and effort expenditure depends entirely on who you are nad where you currently live.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics the current median weekly wage for full-time employees is $734.

In the UK, the latest equivalent statistic equates to $771 per week.

I suppose those figues mean that $100 a day would seem quite good for half the employed working population (the stats exclude self-employed people and part-time workers) but by the same token would be uncomfortably low for the other half.

It depends on where you live and the living standards there. Where I live $100 a day is pretty much, there are other places where $100 is the minimum...

Waiting for your book though. Good idea!

In short, I will be happy to get $100 per day if the work is less.
