Should I uninstall old printer software?

In light of my most recent experience, I purchased a new Canon multifunction photo printer and installed it today to replace my HP corrupt software printer.

Should I now uninstall all old HP software? Without the printer is it of any functional value?

What do you suggest and advise?

    You can get rid of it. Without an HP printer it's just taking up space on your hard drive.

    always uninstall unused software, because first - they take up space, second - they might go in conflict with the new one that you are going to install.:-)
