Making Money Online and Business Fundamentals
I've been in the process of retooling my own IM and home business endeavors, and this has given me cause to think again about the business aspect of IM. This is really a recurring theme for me because I did not grow up in a business oriented family and have no innate business skills.
When I discovered IM a few years ago, I made the mistake of confusing Internet marketing techniques, methods, approaches, systems etc. of making money online with home business. It took me a while to learn that any success online is really the tip of the business "iceberg." With all the flash and hype and gee-whizzness of Internet marketing, it is easy to lose sight of the much less glamorous, business side of Internet marketing. But it's the rather dull, business side that allows the front-end online magic to be reliable, predictable, and productive.
Anyway, with this in mind and in keeping with the idea of the importance of basics, I wanted to revisit some links to free--albeit unglamorous--resources that I personally feel are important research tools. These are well known, but I think they are worth mentioning and may be insightful to newcomers.
