    I know that with Linkshare and a lot of other networks that allow you to promote physical products, they like for you to have an already-existing blog/e-mail list/solid promotional strategy in the niche of the product you're going to promote.

    I signed up there years ago, and simply filled out the application, described my website and methods of advertising (i.e. article marketing, social media, banners and creatives, etc...) and was approved.

    However, I would leave out certain marketing methods such as 'email marketing' - 'incentivized methods' etc... as some platforms frown upon these types of marketing. JUst give them enough info to get accepted, then look into their TOS as to what they allow or dis-allow.

    Oh, and for the record, when I got approved for LinkShare, I only had a Blogger account with one post on a free platform, so unless they changed their rules or qualifying approval process, just go to: https://signup.linkshare.com/publish...host=linkshare

    If your promotion is good they will accept you, add their AMs on Skype and talk to them.

    I would suggest you include how you intend to drive traffic to your offer in your application. If you tell them you will be using PPC or email advertising that seems to help. Also after you complete the application call the affiliate manager by phone and reinforce your interest in joining their network

    As suggested try Skyping them, just enter matomy.com or linkshare.com and you'll get contacts of their AM displayed to public.

    Your chances increase when you have your own website once you apply to them.

    If you don't have your own website, it will be a little harder to get accepted.
