Where to write progress articles?

7 replies
Hello, people. I've just started building a niche site (stage: searching for potentially profitable niche and keyword) and I want to keep a record of my progress through reports. Do you have any suggestions where could I write these progress articles? I have two:

> InfoBarrel.com - I could earn few extra bucks there
> WarriorForum.com - I could get encouragement and tips
If I decide writting in this forum, what would be the best section?

Thanks.

      Articles or posts in which I write about what I'm doing in order to build a profitable niche site.

        Create your own blog and write about it there.

        Maybe your niche could be blogging "about what I'm doing in order to build a profitable niche site?"

        You could monetize that blog as well.

    If you wanted to post your reports in this forum, the best place would probably be here: Warrior Forum - The #1 Internet Marketing Forum & Marketplace - Blogs , but definitely not in the main section.

    However, I think a better idea would be to chart your progress on your own blog, using a platform such as WordPress.org or similar (you can also link to that blog here in your sig file).

    If you have full and exclusive control over your content, you'll have the option of releasing your progress articles as a report once you've built your niche site. You could then sell that report, or use it as an enticement for subscribers to an email list.

      Good idea. So basically you're saying to start a blog using WP and after I've built my niche site use that content in one of these ways:
      • Build an e-book and sell it;
      • Use it for email marketing;
      • Monetize that blog and keep adding content

      Is it normal to build a costly ebook from the content I've shared on that blog for free? Content curation costs, right?

    I agree with the previous suggestions, you could take it step further and create personal blog and drive the traffic form your forum blog to your other blog. Add it in your sig file as ongoing case study, something your readers can look forward to each week.
