Mama in need of some help.

I am a work at home mom who makes pretty good money with a direct sales health and wellness company.
My passion is being a conscious and informed parent and I work my business on the side which I am also passionate about. I love my work because not only do I help improve people's lives but also help them achieve things they never thought possible. I am a life long personal growth addict and love to help others have hope and be empowered as well.

I am going to have a site built that pretty much is a blog wiwith ways to get info on the subjects that make me, me.

Here is my dilemma. I can't start on my site until I have a domain. I really like empoweredmama.Com but of course it's taken and I am not creative at all. I know there are some really creative and intelligent minds in here and I was hoping for some help with ideas for a domain name.

    I agree with the reply above, you should consider using your name for a domain name. It will help you brand yourself. You can mix it up too.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I am playing with several you mentioned in the tool that Niles mentioned.

    I have thought of just using my name and I have already bought that domain for other things, It's just my last name is hard to spell and most cute blogs have a clever domain name.

    If you have a 'tangled. last name, try using your first name instead, or a combination or your first name and a keyword you'd like to rank for, or even your first name and the first initial of your last name.
    I'd go with the keyword in the domain name though

    EmpoweredMama.com is good. It can make people think you are with a MLM network tho. I like your style...keeping it catchy and memorable.

    You could start the domain out with "MamaCan.....then place your niche there..com Or MamaHelpsYou...niche here.com

    You can also change mama to mom or mommy

      A couple of cautions . . .

      Using your own name is fine for a blog or personal web site. I would question, however, the practice of placing your business on such a domain. If you end up being a success and ever decide to sell your web site, the new owner and you both would probably prefer that the business carry on with a different name. So think about the future use of your name as a domain name.

      The second caution is about the word "empower" given all the negative talk and feelings about the Empower Network that is receiving so much attention right now. Unfortunately, the word has become associated with a particular business that many people run from as fast as possible.

      Here are two other tools you might consult as you think about a domain name:

      Impossibility

      Lean Domain Search

      Both are simple to use and will give you hundreds of potential doman names given your best keyword.
