Help! I got a scary Spam Assassin message

Hi Guys,

I'm using Aweber and scheduling my broadcast to my lists. But then I saw that my Spam Assassin rating is 2.4!

It says:
"RBL: Envelope sender listed in bl.open-whois.org"

I'm not spamming; I'm using double opt-in. So would my emails still be sent without any problem?

One thing that comes to mind is that I'm getting emails from my own email address (but I'm not sending them). Could this be causing it?

Would appreciate your help.

Now this is strange. I'm sending the exact message now to another list, and the spam rating is now 0. All my lists have the same "From" email address.

Any tech expert care to share some light?

Any email broadcast system will end up on a few black lists.

Did you use any other spam triggers like the word "free" or use any prices? Also making the email too long triggers spam filters.

Thanks, I talked to Aweber support and he says that particular blacklist is down and is causing a false positive with spam assassin. So I guess problem solved.

  Not too bad; it's below the danger level of 5. But I've almost always got a 0 spam rating, so this came as a shock.

  From Aweber's Spam Assassin Checker. But as the support says, it's a false positive.
