Hi;

How much do visitors care about this? For example these 2, which one works better?

    There's a technical difference in a subdomain. A subdomain and the main domain are kept separate as far as content and SEO goes. Now if you're just referring to a subfolder that's fine and a good way of separating your similar products and services.

    I feel like divorcehelp.com/dicorcerecovery is more intuitive. I think divorcehelp is the main niche and divorce recovery is a sub under your main niche.

    I don't see any difference SEO wise either, but heard the same that supposedly folders are ranking better.

    I do agree with Jimilof and maybe we've been trained all these years to see the domain + topic vs topic+domain

    I don't think visitors would care about these two different domain styles at all if that is your question. The search engine sees these two sites as different sites though, so that is a consideration if you are doing seo.
