How do I find a webmaster / design guy?

Hey guys,

Thanks for checking out this post.

I'm not very tech savvy and even though I've taught myself HTML, I would like to begin to outsource all of my design work.

Most of it is simple tweaks and edits to existing pages. Really simple stuff that I don't need to be paying my current outsources $50 a pop to do.

I'm looking for a guy that will be available to do work whenever necessary. I can just email him and say "this is what I need done, this page up, this edited and so on".

The challenge here is that I don't even know what to call this type of person for my getafreelancer.com post. Would you call this a webmaster? A designer?

Is GetAFreelance.com the best place to look?

Thanks!

~Sean

You can probably get a good designer from the phillipines for about $30-40/week. It depends on whether you can justify that but you will have someone there whenever you need them and they can be doing lots of other stuff for you as well.

      Check out replacemyself (afflink)

If you're looking for easy stuff cheap, I might be able to help. Check out my site to see what kind of work I do.

I'm willing to negotiate something reasonable, but can't compete with some overseas!

Email me through my site if you want to chat. Or on here... but I'm on email all day, so it's faster that way.

You might also consider ODesk or Elance for outsourcing.

I believe Amazon Mehanical Turk could provide you with what you need. I don't have experience of it but I gather it's perfect for small random tasks like you described.
