If I own multiple websites can I run same content on each site with one AdSense?

I have several different sites in the same niche. Each site is a different domain and each site is rebranded differently.

Can I run the same articles on multiple sites (my own, original content), or would that affect AdSense TOS? All domains are under the same AdSense account as well.

Thanks

  • I guess it wouldn't. Of course, I never did that so I'm not entirely sure. But considering people do take content off of sites like ezinearticles and place it on their site while making money from Adsense, it wouldn't be a problem as long as you own the site.

The problem is not with adsesnse, The problem will be with duplicate content and hence, if you are ever considering SEO rankings for such sites then you will be disappointed...

Even if it doesn't appear to go against Adsense's terms of service, I would not take a chance on someone manually reviewing your sites and finding a different excuse to take down your Adsense account.

If I were you, I would not take that chance.

Remember, all Google Adsense wants is for publishers to provide valuable content. If a person has 5 similar sites with the same content, that person is asking for trouble.

You can do so but provided you don't rely on Google aka SEO or Adwords as your only traffic source.

Besides free and paid traffic which most marketers talked about, you might consider social traffic.

When I say social traffic, I don't just mean social media sites like Facebook and Pinterest although relying on those can still produce effective results.

There is one site you might want to check out.

It is called meetup.com. Unlike Facebook and Pinterest whereby members get to interact only online, this site is where members arrange meeting up with one another based on their common interests and problems.

If your niche is weight loss as an example, you can do a search for meetups of people wanting to lose weight via various activities like jogging, swimming or other sport.

Then you meet up with them but not before investing a bit of $ in getting your namecards done with your photo, particulars and url.

Whichever traffic methods you use, you need to have a group of people as your target audience who will eventually buy from you.

Once you do, you can run the same content on as many sites as you want under your niche without worrying about being penaltized by Google or not.

I hope that answers your question.

Haven't tried and will never try having the same content on several websites even if its my original content. For me it is not healthy especially if you want your website to rank. I guess traffic will be affected too somewhat.

Exactly what vikash_kumar said cause that falls under the duplicate content clause

You cannot run the same content (even though you own the copyright) on multiple blogs running on AdSense. That would be against the TOS of AdSense and they will ban your account.

  • It won't effect adsense earnings

However, it will effect your SEO rankings

Search engines don't well rank sites with copied content.

    I recommend you don't

It isn t forbitten by Adsense rules, also because is possible have diffrent sites with similar contents.
There could be some problems with ranking (SEO etc...) if contents are exactly the same.

If your purpose is only to earn money, try to optimize Adsense configuration at first!

This is against their TOS. You could get ban at the time of payment release when they verify your website. I would not take that risk because this will not work in long run.

Moreover you will get hit by Panda from SEO perspective.

    That's a big no no!
Duplicate content is your enemy (well, one of many..). Why not rewrite the articles? Or write new ones? Or, you know, concentrate one one website instead of many?

I don't get it. What purpose would that serve? How would that benefit anyone? It's the same content on different domains. How would that entice clicks?
