What Positive Things Has A Marketer Ever Done For You?

I know it would be easy to list the nightmares and scare off all the newbies and we do not want to do that.

No need to name names.

But can you share something that stands out in your mind that happened between you and another marketer that was just really cool and exceptional?

I can remember one marketer that refunded me for someone he had recommended that was being less than professional. That kinda blew me away..I was not asking for that at all just some clarification on another issue. He became one of my favorite marketers and still is.

Once a marketer sent me his $2000 product in the middle of his brand new launch after I asked him a few questions about the product just because he thought it would be helpful to me at that time.

A fellow warrior here at the forum did me a favor that I will never forget.

Someone took the time to make a video testimonial for one of my products and he had not even joined the affiliate program! Was just a very very cool appreciative individual

I have gotten business projects by simply hitting the reply button on marketers emails.

Out of the blue a fellow marketer gave me some constructive criticism and I mean it was extremely detailed and helpful.

This one is funny I do not know if you ever saw the movie Training Day with Denzel Washington but there was a scene where the rookie officer was indeed about to become a dead man until the would be assassin realized that the cop had actually saved a young relative of his earlier that day.

Well I was brand spanking new to a Facebook group and you know there is a period of people checking you out and warming up to you or not but one of the most active guys in the group had seen a post I made somewhere and gave me a big compliment and after that I had so many friends! So that karma thing is no joke!

I am sure there may be other incidents that pop into my head but I would love to hear some of your positive experiences with fellow marketers.

It's happened many times. And that "best thing" is always the same thing: information.

Being somewhat new to marketing, I always thought that marketers are those opportunists who don't care much about quality. I thought they were those people who just want to make a product seen by as many eyeballs as possible and not care about spammy methods. Even google is full of nonsense results when searching for lots of things.
It's good to know about the positive experiences.

I have found a couple of very experience marketers that have given me a wealth of information and pointed me in the right direction .There is one still to this day that I contact on a regular basis, if I am struggling, and he helps me evaluate what it is that is causing me problems .This helps to get me going again . It is like getting a good battery charge.

I have also come across the fly-by-nights who are only out to make a quick sale and sell you rubbish ( And believe me there are more of them out there than the set mentioned above)

I do not consider my self lazy but I am missing that multi-quote function!

Glad to hear other positive experiences, yea I know the negative ones are out there and they can eat us up inside when it happens so that is exactly why I created this thread to help us "shake it off".

Yeah. Then I guess I wasn't wrong. Too many fly by nights who want to earn some quick cash and run away

A marketer gave me free software because I commended him on his commitment to his family (his child's birthday or something ) instead of completing a launch. The same marketer gave me a free coaching session 1hr to help me get focused and then he recommend that I do not buy the particular product of his because it was to advanced for where I was at in my business. I have since bought several hundreds of dollars of product from him.

What a great thread Tips. Nice thinking.

    Great positive thread.

Most of us online have needed help before and received it with thanks, and are happy to "pay it forward".

The most positive thing that a marketer has ever done for me and others as well is to give me a $1 free trial or even free for the first month before giving me the decision whether or not to continue using his product.

If I want to continue, he will have to charge me so that he can make a living as internet marketer.

2 marketers came into my mind on those.

    Eben Pagan and Adam Short.

Eben gives me the biggest Ah-Ha moments not just about making money on-and-offline but in ALL areas of life as well be it relationships or communications with the people around you

As for Adam, I might consider getting his NPC for lifetime access because his business model - niche marketing is what I am also passionate about.

Though I signed up for his program, I have been in and out since I cannot afford to keep paying $67 monthly.
