What information products focus on urgent needs?

Hi,

I'm trying to promote information products that can help people with their urgent needs like sickness or job hunting.

What do you think are the products of this kind? I'm looking for products like this to promote as an affiliate. I think promoting these products are easier.

Thanks.

This is a very broad question my friend. I would advise you to first research and identify your market of people that are in need of a solution and are willing and in a position to pay.

Then decide upon a way to connect with these people and sell them the affiliate product.

I would not jump into catering for the job hunting market though as these are people that are usually out of work and a bit skeptical about spending (from my experience).

People who have long term, chronic or terminal illnesses are preyed upon by many unscrupulous people and as such tend to be both desperate and have likely already been burned by someone out to sell them a promise that doesn't come true. Making them scared, jaded, and reluctant to buy.

People who are desperate for work, as The Action Man stated, are likely to be skeptical about spending money.

Unless you have a product that can genuinely help someone who is ill, I wouldn't advise you to enter that market. I have strong feelings about this, but they aren't business related.

And please don't try to help if you have no clue what you are doing. People kill themselves in this desperate niche. They need help but it's not likely to be from a Warrior member wanting to hit the lottery with a big money target.

I would lean towards areas of interest that DO NOT put you or the customer at risk. There's a ton of stuff people need, want, or desire outside of say 'health related' products, so I would recommend finding products and services that deliver a high quality of value to the end user.

You can research hot trends, magazines, or stick with something like travel, or learning to speak a foreign language, or how to create your own _______ (i.e. chicken coupe, doghouse, water purification system, solar panel installation, etc...)

You gotta think from the consumers perspective, before you think about "How much you want to earn" - help more people solve a problem or meet a demand they have, and money will flow in... it takes time, I'm still fixing mistakes myself.

    Just take action.

Find a quality product/service (preferrably useful, non-risque product or service outside health stuff) and get a squeeze page, autoresponder, and a simple sales funnel in place. Most good affiliate programs offer the tools, training, and insights to get started quickly...they want you to bring them sales. So, just research, pick a product that has a quality offer to both you and the consumer, and get busy!

Now, I need to take my own advice and get back to work, lol.

Would you sell an ebook on Schizophrenia, that sold very well... even if you knew that it was full of shit?

      Personally, I wouldn't.

I think it was Dan Kennedy who said; "Give them what THEY want, and let THEM figure out what THEY need." - and from a marketing prospective, the goal is ideally to make sales, but to me, there's just too many quality products that do deliver REAL solutions, so I try not to mess with the junk or anything that doesn't offer value.

Heroine sells very well, but I'm not going to start selling that either. I'll leave that to the FDA and the Government, lol.

It's good to see that you have morals. Schizophrenia is no joke. Neither is asthma, fibromyalgia, crohn's disease, diabetes, breast cancer, MS, etc. The person who started this thread probably could care less... until they're diagnosed with one of these conditions.
