Opinions, please, related to WordPress.

A friend wrote a comprehensive illustrated guide to learn WordPress that touches on other web development skills, like graphic design concepts, affiliate marketing techniques and lead generation.

He's asked me to partner up, so I'd like hear opinions on a price point - I'm thinking from $20 to $50 for an ebook or a mailed copy on disk.

He's shown it to a few college students that took classes on WordPress and they love it.

This is not yet ready to sell.

Appreciate your feedback.

There are so many coaches in market for teaching WordPress, any way you planned to sell offline means on a disk so it would be profitable. I had a doubt if someone duplicate your CD and republish in the market, then what you do?

Have you taken the time to research into what similar products online are selling for? That will give you a better idea about the best potential selling price than guessing or having random forum members guess.

Just be aware, there is a ton of WordPress info and tutorials already available, much of it free.

Yes, Wordpress is a really crowded space. And selling an ebook at what price really depends upon your platform, i.e. kindle, wso, blog, udemy, etc.

I think the Wordpress niche is quite crowded, so it would be a real challenge, selling this ebook online or offline. Doing some research first is a good idea and also, what does your product have that others don't? That's the main thing you should think about when promoting it.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Yep, anything I want to learn anymore I do just this.

I wonder how it might hurt the info. product Market ?

I do not think it will ever make it obsolete.

For some reason when people see something with a Price on it they naturally think it is better than something free, even if is not
