What Is The Recommended Way To Advertise My Website?

My service has high demand, it is high quality, it is online and the price is low.

Actually the competition usually asks for hundreds of dollars initial cost and then also monthly cost. I have high quality service and I don't charge any initial cost. It is completely free. Then I only charge low monthly cost which is the same price as the competition - $15 per month and I earn $10 per month.

My website was optimized to be good as a landing page.

What is the recommended way to advertise my website?

Targeted PPC where your customers and potential customers hang-out.

If you are B2B then Linked In is good.

If it is a personal service then Facebook is good and can get very targeted.

Adwords/Bing if you have good keywords to target.

Check out your competition and see where they are engaged socially and where they advertise.

Tools like Spy Fu can help.

Try FB ads, doing some split testing on your ads so that you know if one performs better.
You can just run one type of ad for $20 and turn it off, then run a slightly different ad for $20 and see what might work best. Usually you have to do your own testing.

Can you share your niche or product? That would help with giving your recommendations.
Is your website based solely on your product?

I would keep building a list. It's the best way to get long term traffic. You can do sponsored posts on fb and do guest blog posts. I would do content creation if you haven't done that yet. An effective way to get new audiences is to reference other people's content and hit them up that their content has been referenced and the value is appreciated. They usually link back to you. Imagine the power in that. Focusing on free and paid advertising rocks!

    3. Yelp.com

If you know your offer converts well find a website in your niche and send that traffic to your landing page. Always focus on building your list. If you spend money on advertising and you aren't building your list you are wasting your money. Some of the ways you can advertise is by using banners on niche related sites, PPC , solo ads to name a few. Always start low and scale. If you don't know what you are doing you can waste a lot of money fast.

PPC is a very effective reach to 15% of Google visitors.
Visitors trust Organic listings, thus the 85% reach.
You can reach that 85% by attaining highest rankings in
the Organic section at discounted Pay Per Click Rates.

When you say "Advertise my website" you somewhat limit the creative ability of people to give you effective suggestions.

What are you selling? Obviously you want to sell people your product by getting them to your sales funnel/landing page...

But what gets people to your landing page?
What niche? What content are you using to drive people crazy enough that they just have to visit your site to see what it's all about?

    IN OTHER WORDS....
No matter which platform you use to share your message, the CONTENT is critical to engaging your TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC!

The trend for the last couple years has been growing daily...and that's VIDEO marketing.

Are you THE GUY or GAL that has the answers to their problems? Then get your butt in front of a video camera, put up a decent background, and prepare a message that communicates quickly and effectively why your solution will help your TARGET AUDIENCE.

If you are NOT the guy or gal...and you are selling someone else's stuff...then your question is strictly technical in nature, and the answers provided so far are pretty right on.

Personally...I am sick of selling someone else's stuff...and sick of being sold and sick of spammy nonsense sales messages.

That's why your NICHE is important. Once you define your niche....you can then begin to target your audience.
    • I create a Facebook Fan Page for my business niche.
    • I create original, authoritative videos in my niche which happens to be Urban Gardening.
    • I put up cool video content and photographic content to interest possible audience.
    • I create lists of Facebook groups that fit into my target niche and join them.
    • I copy the URL of my Facebook Fan Page Post.
    • I use Facebook Groups Poster to post out that awesome content (Facebook FanPage URL) to Targeted Groups of people who appreciate that content.
    • I monitor my Facebook page for engagement and build rapport without hard selling.
    • I monitor my Facebook feed for engagement as well and follow up with individuals as a real person.
    • At this point it would be good if you had a website that has some free content and some premium content demonstrating your prowess and expertise in your niche. Send them to your website.
    • On your website you should make it clear why they are there and make an effort to coax them in to get even more excellent content.
    • They can either buy your product straight up on your START NOW page....OR they can sign up for your email list to learn more.
    • Setting up an email list-builder/auto-responder like Aweber means you have to create content that people are interested in reading and will not consider SPAMMY SALES messages.

I hope this gives you an idea of a WORK-FLOW that you might engage in daily to build your audience, your email list, and provide useful and valuable content to your audience so that they will want to buy more.

Alot of work goes into creating a website like this and getting everything set up. It can be done fairly affordably if you are willing to put in some time and effort...and a little money for tools.

There are other workflows you can follow using different platforms....i.e. YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest....but what's most important is engaging your audience with authoritative and tasteful content.

That is what Work To Inspire is about...that's what we do...encouraging people to pursue their passion and what they love so they never get tired of sharing it...
But that's getting into WHY you are selling things online...

Many people start with online marketing thinking they can just make money fast. And some can...but it takes a lot of work. The super technical and savvy folks can create great tools and sell them because they work. If you are selling someone else's tool...the BIGGEST ISSUE is always how to get TRAFFIC TO YOUR OPPORTUNITY.

      So ask yourself?
      • What would make you come to your own opportunity?
      • What kind of person would want what you are selling?
      • Why would they come to your site?
      • What exciting, engaging content will you create to get them there.
      • Will their experience on your site be disappointing once they ENTER?
      • Will it be consistent with what you promise to your target market?
      • Are you experienced in your own niche?
      • Are you believable?

      All these things matter.
If you can't answer these question effectively...then perhaps you are not ready to sell anything yet.

But from my experience if you are not selling something you truly love or believe in then you will not last long in the online sales arena.

Hope that helps you get some focus. Cheers!
