First find the right niche and get great domain name, start blogging to make money.

You cant make money with blogger to get those bucks. Anyway make blogger and also do some freelancing to get a domain, hosting in the mean time.

Try freelancing section in forums and you will be on your way.

Yes you can use blogger. Just understand that with any free blogging site you are going to have other peoples ads showing up with your content. Can you compete with these other ads? What TeKn1qu3z failed to mention is if you pay for your own domain and hosting then blog there, you don't have competing ads to deal with. In reality he is absolutely correct. With Namecheap you can get a domain for $10 good for 1 year and through hostgator you can buy unlimited hosting for $3 to $4 a month. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Blogger is a good a very good platform to start, plus its a good authority site for putting posts up & quite good for getting your blog ranked quite quickly. This is what I found with some offers which I have posted in the past.

You can definitely start on blogger and move the site over to your own hosting later on. That part is a little technical so you might run into some difficulties, but it is possible.

That being said, you should still get your own domain. You can get one for $0.99 from Godaddy by searching cheap domain names on Google and clicking through from there.

You want to have 100% control of your domain. Plus you'll have a hard time ranking a lot of the times with a BlogSpot if your main traffic focus is seo.

Of course you can start with the blogger, there is no doubt about it. It is free version. After writing the article, you can do the adsense, Affiliate marketing or even you can sell your own product, if you have. Beside the Blogger, the Wordpress has a free version also. You can use this site also. I have been using the Blogger site for a long time.

Do not be so narrow minded. A good friend of mine uses blogger to rank number one for UFC events each and every time. He pulls in decent money but they are throw away he uses them for about 1 week then moves on to the next. During our challenge (yeah he challenged me) He pulled in 10k with blogger I pulled in 2k with a self hosted wordpress blog. Largely I think the reason for that is he has been doing it for so long he knew exactly what to do. For me it was a new experience. *Here is to you Swif*

I have not found any reason one would want to use one long term unless you are just cheap. However that is your business. It does not mean you can not be successful just means you are cheap. Not a thing wrong with that at all. Some of the most successful people I know are cheap.

Even if I would share which I can not the chances you can replicate are 1 in a million. He has things masterfully timed. He knows what to do and when to do it at the exact moment. From when to create the blogger to when to create what link and when to create it and on what site and what time. Never have I seen someone have something that down pat for events like him.

You can start with blogger to avoid hosting fee. You can add your own .com domain to it and you can get it for a cheap price (around 2USD) from godaddy for the first year...

Having good and engaging content is the key.... Neat and clean design is another thing to keep in mind... there are some good blogger themes which you can use, google is ouyr friend.

You can start blogging with blogger but You should add custom domain with your blogger blog. Here is a thing, You need to spend $10-$12 to buy a custom .com domain for your blogger blog but You will get web hosting + domain name from GoDaddy if you spend $15.

Better buy your own domain & start blogging .

Also, have you done some research to see how much a domain name and hosting could cost you? It's really not that much! Honestly, give something up for the next 2 months or so (like, stop eating fast food and save your money! just an example) and I assure you you will be able to afford a domain name and hosting!

I understand the need to save money. However, as a long term strategy, using Blogger will probably be a waste of time. Hosting and domain registration aren't super expensive. I would wait until you manage to get the funds to do it right from scratch. I started with Blogger way back and the blog didn't amount to anything. I learned that the only real way to build a business is by investing the money. Most of us have learned that lesson. We're just trying to help you avoid the same mistakes we've made! Freelancing is a good option to help bring in some fast cash.

I disagree. There is nothing wrong in using Blogger to begin. Just make sure you will be able to export and redirect your blog properly when you decide to move it to another platform.

Bluehost - $6.95 unlimited websites, Godaddy domain with a coupon code .99 cents. So for under 8 dollars you can be sure your site will rank better and will not get deleted, losing all your hard work.

I did this exact same thing when I started and regret it very much. Got a couple of my blogs on self hosted Domains deleted for absolutely NO reason at all.

Earn a little bit on the side to afford the $10 month fee for hosting and WP blog.

So go for Blogger. Write some great post on niche which is inline with Google Adsense.

Apply for Adsense and make money.

Reinvest that money to buy a domain > Then a good hosting plan > switch to wordpress (or other) > and keep expanding.
