Payment Processing Companies

A few years ago when I looked there were some companies that handled credit card transactions for us small folks a bit like PayPal but were massively cheaper and had better customer service, (for the seller).

Anyone know of any of these companies these days?

Thanks, Ducky

You can also use shopping cart software along with a payment processor to improve the perceived credibility of your checkout process, for example zaxaa with stripe, or 1shopping cart and authorize.net

Of course the Paypal is a leading company around the world, there are some more companies also. Beside the paypal I have been using the SKRILL also for a long time. Its work is good. So people has no Paypal, so I have been using two sites, by which I can send & receive payment from any people. Thanks.

Yes, there are still some companies that can be used instead of PayPal for handling credit card transactions. A few these companies are pretty popular. 2Checkout, WePay, Authorize.Net, Skrill, Intuit, ProPay and stripe are some companies you can try. ClickBank is another alternative if you are trying to sell info products. If you want to sell physical stuff, try checkout by Amazon. Its pretty reliable with high trust factor.
