Plugin that automatically submits?

Hey Warriors, quick question - Is there a plugin or software that automatically submits my blog posts (urls) to sites that I have specified?

I just lost my data entry guy who goes into 5-8 sites a day to submit my urls on sites. These sites accept content through a form on their front end with the typical entries e.g. name, email, url link, description, etc.

Is there a way to automate this? Thanks!

There is a Wordpress plugin called SNAP that automatically publishes your blog posts to social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Blogger, Tumblr. However, it can take some time to setup this plugin. The only downside is that you can post only to the supported networks in their list. The general version is free. A paid version of this plugin will allow you to add multiple accounts against each website. You can republish your posts to multiple sites at once.

There are a lots of tools you will get online for auto submission but auto submission is not good from SEO perspective. It will look like unnatural postings which may hamper your rankings. The above mentioned tool onlywire is pretty interesting tool for posting into social networking sites. But then I would recommend you to so manually that would look natural.

Hey thanks for the quick response warriors - but I'm NOT looking to post to social media sites. I'm posting to forms - on the front end of sites. These are sites accept contribution of articles, posts, news, etc.

I'm okay for paid services, since I was paying my guy anyway I thought I can find a service that does this. A free software would be great though!

Thanks for clarifying. I don't think there is such a software at this time. One solution could be to have a software application created for yourself. But, may cost a whole lot of money.

Of course, there is an obvious solution...

Replace your data entry guy, with a new data entry guy/gal. That may be the only way to go if you are specifically interested in having your posts submitted to that particular set of sites, simply because those sites are probably NOT using the same submission form.

Just as others have suggested plugins to automate submission to various social sites, I would mention that WordPress already has the ability to automatically "submit" your posts to a huge number of Update Services. These are then read by an even larger number of sites that depend on them for late-breaking updates to distribute to their own readers.

You can read about that here: Update Services « WordPress Codex

Because these services all use the standard RSS format, all you have to do is specify which services you want to submit to on your WP Admin "Settings" -> "Writiing" page.

The problem with submitting to a custom list of sites, is every site is different and without knowing the sites beforehand, it's impossible for a program/app/plugin to know the correct syntax for unknown sites.

However, a simple solution is to hire a php programmer familiar with Wordpress to create a custom plugin for you, using the sites you give him/her. It shouldn't be too complicated and cheaper and more dependable in the long run than hiring a data entry person. You may even be able to sell the plugin or give it away to build a list, etc., killing two birds with one stone.
