Minimum Requirements for Amazon Affiliates?

Good evening everyone,

I've been on Google for a few hours now, trying to figure out some of the (hidden) requirements for Amazon to accept someone into their affiliates program. Does anyone here have any idea what is needed?

Right now my personal website is pretty bare, and I'd rather not get my hopes up every Monday when I sign up for the program, only to be denied a week later.

Also, what a horrible way to pop my lurking cherry.

      I could PM it to you...if I have that feature unlocked, being a new member and all.

      It's pretty bare bones now. It's a side project to see if I can learn a thing or two. Maybe 5 articles and a pair of income reports.
