How to make $20-$100 daily with a self-hosted wordpress site?

I currently use blogger, but I'm doubting if blogger would be a safe place. Someone recommended wordpress, but it seems not to be better anyway.

Which of them is more effective, traffic and search engine optimization wise?
#affiliate marketing #blogging #blogging platform. #internet opportunities #optimization #platform #search engine

The BEST, if that's what you're looking for, is a self-hosted site using Wordpress.

No sure exactly what you mean by 'safe' but if you're looking to write about whatever you want without any penalty, you want a self-hosted account.

  • Homebuz,

Why live in an apartment, when you can have a beachfront pad of your own?

What I mean is, for traffic and SEO or anything else that's significant to an online business presence -- Why not get a good domain, a good hosting account with a good provider, install WordPress or any CMS that you want, set up a good site and configure your site and your host server the way you please?

Thanks for your useful advice. I've actually been willing to get a domain and a hosting account, but it's just that I don't have the financial capacity enough yet. How I wish I should have got a self-hosted wordpress website by now!

When I switched from a free blog to a self-hosted Wordpress website some 6 years ago, I noticed a noticeable increase in traffic without additional effort to increase traffic. I'm no SEO guru but have heard that the way self-hosted Wordpress blogs are built is very search-engine friendly.

  • It is always best to go for self hosting using the Wordpress platform. Blogger is great when you're jsut beginning, but if you post anything that is even remotely similar to another site, they can tear down your site in an instant.

With your own blog, you own it all. You also don't have to worry about following any rules where your site will be taken down for any random reason.

Is this the blog you are talking about transferring to WordPress?
      Business And Marketing Concepts

It needs to be set up with the reader in mind. If I was you I would copy one article, run it through copyscape and if it passes then paste it in your new blog.

Then spend some time on that post adding headline tags, graphics, and an occasional You Tube video to liven it up. Bookmark the post into social sites and then start on the next one. This is time consuming, but you will end up with a better blog long term.

Visit Neil Patel's blog if you want to seriously learn how to blog the right way.

Successful blogging takes time, patience and perseverance.

    Here are some tips:

    1- Wordpress

    2- Great content

3- Promote that content so that people can see it. Don't wait for search engines to 'give' you traffic. If you learn how to promote it properly in the beginning, then the search engines will reward you after.

4- What you know: Write about what you know and not about what you don't.

5- You need to enjoy this or else you will quit and waste all that initial time.

6- Pick a niche that you are knowledgeable and enjoy instead of picking a niche just for the money.

7- Write for your readers first and search engines second.

8- Learn how to 'give' before you get [make money]

Do the right thing and switch to WP. Paying $10 a month in the long run will be so worth it.

You must have not heard of Kalatu Blog Platform yet.

Before you do anything you need to clearly define WHY you want to make 2K - 5K per month with your blog?

Here's my why: A little over a year ago I was homeless living in a van. I was then in a homeless shelter with my
wife and children. I had to look my little girl in the face at Walmart with tears running down her eyes because daddy did
not have the money to buy her the toy she wanted. I'm passionate about creating income with my blog to help other people
to never have to be in that type of situation again ever in life. Blogging saved my family financially and it can to the same
    for you.

First you need a for profit blogging platform where you can post anything you like.
You control the content. You control all the advertising.

Kalatu is on a WordPress format and takes all the guess work out of blogging and the traffic you get to your blog is amazing.

You have to start blogging about your passion, share your story, share your vision, share your beliefs.

Then people that share your same beliefs, passion, and story will find you and you can market anything you wan to them and
    they will buy from you.

Message me and I will show you some examples of what has been working for me

Sorry I cannot agree with you here. Self-hosted WordPress is indeed good and many 6-figure earners are using WordPress platform.

Now, about your question, WordPress or Blogger or any such platform cannot bring you traffic. You have to work your butt off - build links, rank your site organically, build relationship with other bloggers in your niche, have a social following to bring traffic to your site.

For search engine optimization, I know WordPress in its native form is not URL friendly, but a little tweak to the site while you're creating it makes it the most SEO-friendly platform. If you're not the technical one, there are hundreds of free plugins for SEO in the WordPress repository which you can use in one click and make your site fully SEO friendly.

First of all switch from blogger to WordPress self-hosted. if you need help with installation, I can help you out. blogpsot is not good for business. If you don't switch soon, you will learn it the hard way.

Traffic does not depend on which platform you are using. It depends on the content you publish, SEO , social sharing, backlinks etc

SEO wise WordPress is best. You get an awesome plugin called SEO by Yoast which really helps.

You can customize WordPress 100%. My blog is on wordpress and yes, I'm earning $1500 - $2000 just from my blog (different earning sources like affiliate, reviews, sponsored content)

Apart from blog, my other source of income is from designing.

  • I personally wouldn't rely on blogger for a long term project. I'm currently testing it out right now on click bank products.

Seriously if this is a project you dont want to be thrown away, use wordpress. If your doing something where you dont mind the project getting shut down. I guess you should use blogger. The problem with blogger is that google owns it.

    Hi Home

Wordpress self hosted all the way!

Only because I've made dough in that specific money range , and because I know self hosted, WP is the way to go.

Brand you. Own your real estate. Make money.

    NOW...the question remains, how?

Create value and make connections. Focus heavily on creating something useful, something special, for people to sink their teeth into, and connect with leading bloggers in your niche through blog commenting.

Win-win, as your value and the power of your connections will help you make money, whether 2K, 5K or 10K or more monthly.

    Signing off from Bali!

It's always best to not use a free blogging platform. Here's why: 1.) the domain name is not attractive 2.) the content is not 100% yours, the platform can block it or take it down without prior notice 3.) because it's free, features and potential are limited 4.) it's your business, don't be hesitant to invest in your foundation which is your blog 5.) bad branding and subconscious message to your readers (If you're not willing to invest in a proper blog then why would they?)

Having your own blog is like having your own brand. You're not limited to all the features in fact, you have tons of them! You can also be free to post whatever it is that's in your mind without worrying about some stupid guidelines and all.

It's about creating value and building relationships using your brand. That's how people will know and remember you by.

Self-hosted is definitely the way to go. I use Kalatu. Very easy and awesome to use! There's a mobile blogging app as well which is a huge +++!

    Wordpress is full of holes.
Terrible security, easily hackable, plugins constantly needing updating, plugins causing the site to fail. One plugin issue can take down all your sites. If you have a number of sites you'll have to go in and update every single plugin. A quick Google search will tell you all you need to know about why hackers love Wordpress.
Self hosted is best, but blogger should not present any issues if that's what you want to use. It's interface is not the best, but it does the job. Otherwise if you are building a website use a website builder - there are plenty of free ones around and no you don't have to be an expert on html or css..

As a security purpose Blogger is more safe than WordPress. No one can hack Google blogger and your WordPress site can be hack.

Blogger don't have any speed issue while opening and driving more traffic. In WordPress want more speed service that is costly.

Blogger is free for lifetime and WordPress needs charges every month for the security, speed and hosting.

WordPress is more familiar with search engines. Blogger comes after this.

If you can spend money than go for WordPress otherwise go for blogger.

WordPress Always much familiar with all search engines.

    Thanks.

If you have files someone would want to download from you ...you can try monetizing your files through PPD (pay per download). They take a survey to download your file. You get paid up to $20 everytime someone does it. That's what has been doing well for me. If you want to try it ...PM me and I will invite you to my network.

$20-$100 a daily. Seems like you're starting with online marketing. Wordpress is great to start with. The bigger question is, what are you going to promote to make $20-$100 a day?

You can go adsense but you'll need a shit ton of traffic. Then there's doing amazon reviews which has a beginning of 4% commission that goes up every time you make more sales but resets at the beginning of the month to 4% again. You can join an affiliate network, and gain some leads (cpa's, etc.). Or you can sell your own book. There's other ways of course but that's just my take.

There's nothing to beat Wordpress for its versatility and the wide range of themes and plugins created specifically for that platform.

As to which, out of Wordpress and Blogger, will work best for you or is easier to SEO and get traffic, I think this depends on how well you create content (or have it created for you) that is relevant, informative and entertaining.

Wordpress has plugins available, many of them completely free, that can take care of security, keeping out spam, optimising your site for Google and the other search engines, and more. And it's easy to use.

You definitely to go to using a self hosted blog. You have complete control over your own blog and can do what you want with it.

In the long run if you are looking to build your own business and create a presence online then you should get a WP blog asap.

It's much easier to use than anything else in my opinion.

And you can always get someone else to setup the blog for you if you don't know how or care too.

Sites like Freelancer or doing a Google search to pay someone to get your site together.
