Email forwarding to gmail for domains on blacklisted hosts like hostgator and bluehost

Hi all - I was wondering if anyone has a cheap effective solution to email forwarding.

I host all my sites on hostgator which is fine, except that they have caused too much spam and Gmail won't let us forward emails to gmail anymore.

This is tricky because most of the clients I deal with do not want a new email box, do not want a new email account - they just want things forwarded to their gmail.

I see there are email forwarding services - but they all seem kind of old (very web 1.0 websites). None of them are free either which would be nice, but I guess not required.

So has anyone else run into this issue? How are you getting around it? What is the best approach for a company using a host like hostgator or namecheap to get emails forwarded to gmail?

For now I am going to just tell them to set up proper email boxes and have the users connect their gmail accounts to them - but I know there will be pushback because with email forwarders, the user has to do nothing - and when they have to set up some "pop3" thing they will be worried they are going to mess it up.

Thanks!
