Keywords with no CPC

I have aways ranked sites with CPC of $.50 or more per click. I now have a handful of keywords with NO CPC (according to Google Keyword Planning Tool). I see I can rank these sites fairly easily and get quite a bit of traffic.

For those who have ranked sites with the main keyword having $0 CPC, how does that work when having adsense on the site? Would I only get pennies per click? Or has anyone seen good results?

Has anyone tried selling affiliate products with success to an audience based around a keyword with no CPC?

    That doesn't mean anything, CPC just means that nobody is bidding on it on Adwords, but if those keywords have enough searches and it's buyer keyword you can get sales of course.
