A while back, I signed up for Pinterest in the effort of learning how to use it to build traffic...

I didn't put enough time into it then, but Pinterest still sends me emails, today I got a email, and it hit me, why didn't I keep going with it?

I was just curious on the thoughts of other warriors, how valuable is Pinterest? I'm thinking about bundling it with some videos, maybe some audiobooks (putting quotes from them onto Pinterest) to drive traffic... has this worked for you guys?

or is there certain methods you recommend?
To the success of the Warriors!!

EDIT: I just got a few pins up... https://www.pinterest.com/antares123...keting-quotes/
Would love to hear some feedback on what I could do better!

Pinterest is extremely valuable.. I do more marketing on Pinterest than almost every other social network because the traffic is so good. At the same time, similar to Facebook, some niches do much better than others. Pinterest has a high female count so things that target women always do better!

Pinterest can be valuable, but it depends what niche market you're in. I use it for a niche that I'm in that's outside of internet marketing (wouldn't suggest it for IM). You have to remember that the majority of people who use Pinterest are women, and the women on there seem to like really visual stuff like fashion, cooking (recipes are really, really popular - would be easy to promote cooking stuff this way), weight loss, and so on.

I recommend that you set up a nice profile -- be a real person. Before you start sharing your own stuff, pin other peoples' stuff, interact. Get followers (really easy) before you start pitching your own stuff. Finally, you should be promoting stuff from your own site. In other words, a user will see a pic. They click on said picture, which will take them to your site, where they can get the product if they want.

    Pinterest is extremely valuable!

All those sites where you can get targeted traffic on your pictures and content are extremely valuable.

You get people on your pictures. Then you direct them to your site or offer.

That's where the sale/optin/whatever you're trying to achieve happens.

If you do this good you can get lazer targeted traffic.

    Go try it out,
